Required rate is pushing 9. It'd be an absolute knock and a half.

    - "it's better to have a bad day in the field today then in the quarter finals"
    - "England were never that good anyway"
    - "Roy/Ali/Morgan should be dropped"

Is that all the headlines ?

    oh wait:
"it was all planned in the BOB BBQ" zing.

i'm hoping Sri Lanka can get to around 220-250 to give their bowlers something to aim at.
This has the makings of a good game if they can.

It's been a great couple of days of cricket!

Do you think AUS have got a hope here ? It'll be interesting to see the Windies batting against a more serious bowling attack.

edit:fuckinghell are they going to clear 300. that's a nice recovery.

Finally some cricket this week! gg English weather.

Good start by WIndies put to an end by Plunkett. Looks like the makings of a good match. Possibility Roy is injured which fucks England a bit.

Well this is all a bit tense, just when we thought it was looking good.
Excellent batting wobble by England here - well done chaps.

The pitch seems to have slowed down a lot, Woakes and Plunkett will be looking forward to having a bowl on it. Anything over 300 should be a good score.

New Zealand have a steady batting lineup but I fancy they'll need something special to chase this.

None of my Kiwi mates think they have a hope, then 2 wickets fell and they turned the radio off!
I've every confidence we can teeter on the edge of defeat for a bit though before stokes sorts it out

That catch by Buttler was pretty special.

Silly runout by Wood as well.

NZ have the sort of bowing attack that can pull this off. India have a pretty poor middle order so this will definitely be interesting.

    Great bowling performance by England.

I don't think I can stomach keep up with the run chase
