Game seems to be getting ok reviews. Not awesome but enjoyable..

Doesn't mean it's going to play, feel, flow in any similar way at all due to the entirely different group making it so much later, possibly learning from and iterating from the previous game and all sorts of things since.This. And from what I've heard so far, I seem to be entirely correct, as in it's different but with a solid set of its own issues. Doesn't mean it's good though in this iteration either though as Avalanche seems to have dropped the ball hard as usual by making it a tedious tick all the numbers and boxes open world collectathon that just happens to have good shooting because id.
That said, all in all though in this case, we all seem to be correct, all at once, and might as well avoid it, lul. Happy days.

Fair enough. I can see how my comment is a bit flippant. Was just so unimpressed with the first one. Trying to sell it as a sequel of the original is about the worst way to convinve me to buy the game and I'm not interested at all. My taste in games has changed a bit since the first one as well. If you like it Isyel or it generates some positive responses I'll look more into it and maybe give it a shot at a reasonable price point for me.Link it, sure. It is an open world shooter, if you aren't bored yet of that thing then it might be a game for you, if you are sick and tired of open world grinding and wandering then avoid.

Accurate.
It's classic avalanche, big and full of busywork.
Gets sustained by the combat being fucking superb, the guns and abilities and grenades and shit are just 11/10 and feel amazing. Super in depth customization and progression (to the point where tbh it's too much).
Basically if you enjoy games like Just Cause or Mad Max it might just do the trick. Or at least are not terminally bored of open world busywork give it a go.
It's by far not shit, but it's not great either as a whole package. Epitome of a "7/10" tbh.
