Crappy photoshop, couldn't fit carbonite on monolith without cutting off Hand Solo. I guess cutting hands off it's a traditional star wars thing.

Is it just me, or does FemSolo look like Marie Osmond?

Lucy Skywalker is a classic 80/90s beauty.

Solo doesn't work because of jawline.

Adam Driver is brilliant in everything he does, no matter gender. Seriously check out his indy outings.

Just seen the first episode, story seems good and I like the show a great deal.
What grinds my gears is the locations/planets not being being labelled.
    (Also, tiny Leia is badass)

They mention the name of the new planet in conversation. I suppose they expect the audience to know the other two.

Overall I liked it. Obi Wan's PTSD comes across crystal clear to me and I expect to see a full redemption/healing arc on his behalf.

Tiny Leia was awesome allthough the chase scene was ludicruos.

Desperately needs a better villain (obviously there might be one around to pick up some slack) and what was going on with that parkour sequence - both pointless and extra obvious with the wire work.

Chris Hayden been cast as Darth Vader.
You cannot get a better villain, unless script fucks him up.

I just pray they made him simple, Hulk-smash, like the end scene of Rogue One.

One of the most welcome Vader scenes I've ever witnessed.

Such a simple, yet powerful scene!

Is it just me or does it look weirdly cheap as well? Like the compositing of Obi Wan into scenes around his bum cave, the lack of a crowd (and some really obviously empty spaces where they just didn't have enough extras to fill it) in the cyberpunk city, the ludicrously bad camera work in the chase sequences (all of them).

I don't mind a motivated antagonist but she's being played so over the top with only one note, she's like the bad guy equivalent of a vuvuzela. Really I agree that it's being carried v. hard by McGregor, he has that ability to tell you his character's entire backstory with his eyes in a matter of seconds. I lost interest in Boba Fett pretty quickly, but I'll probably stick with this one just for Obi.

I only thought it was looking "cheap" during the rooftop chase sequence, but there it looked really cheap (as in Netflix Cowboy Bebop cheap). I think here and there the limitations of the virtual stage system they use can also be spotted. There were some nice camera flourishes elsewhere though I thought.

Absolutely agree with your comment regarding McGregor, just a great leading man.

I think the 2 episodes were more than enough for me.
