After a successful and enjoyable stint on a contract with Initiative/Initiative Mercenaries and an extremely short stay in En Garde:
THORN Syndicate is taking a breather from the so-called power blocks and providing opportunities for budding FCs to hone their skills under the tutelage of none other than Lucian James and Alphastarpilot in a small to medium gang setting as THORN Alliance with minimal blues (naturally, small to medium gang PVPers are eagerly accepted).
Join thorn pub in game or convo/mail me for an interview. If you bring a KB link, a proper new-style FULL keyID and vCode, and a small narrative about how you like to PVP you improve your chances of acceptance by 25%. Another 10% bonus if you can more or less move yourself around EVE with little to no assistance.
We fly a lot of shield/nano stuff but, we can all do armor, and we're working on our blops squad atm and after a successful trial of our exclusive asscats doctrine will deploying that with increasing frequency. Mumble and TS3 are required as well as activity on the EVE-O THORN Forum if you want reimbursement.

If you have a problem with a 14yr old giving you orders in fleet or telling you "don't talk" this probably won't work. If you can't handle your CEO making a gay joke about you this probably won't work. If you're generally an emodramafgt this definitely won't work.

As to my previous post - we have resettled in the bountiful bastion of PVP that is Curse. We have some old, and some new friends that we plan to embark upon ~goodtimes~ with soon. This past Friday was our first FNL (Friday Night Lights) fleet in the area and was actually slightly before we actually landed in Curse proper.
We had intel on multiple hostile fleets: A Goon fleet in the Doril area (can't remember their fleet comp) and an Imperial Legion BC heavy with 5 scimis in the G-0/LJ- area. Upon entering Curse (departing from Futzchag) the Goon fleet was long gone and intel on IMP-L changed, turns out they had 3 scimis (to our 2) with equivalent numbers. So, after first declining to go for them, FC changed plans and off we went. There was a brief stand-off on the KLM / HLW gate: they were CR fit and we LR. Both sides waited for the other to jump, we weren't going to and props to them for eventually doing so.
We killed their tackle as we kited them out then started to take down damage dealers before they exited the fight.

THORN Syndicate - If you can't beat'm edition
When I last wrote our alliance and 401K were assaulting the hapless capsuleers of IMP-L in Scalding Pass. All was proceeding according to plan when INK and eventually -A- came in to support IMP-L and defend sov in SP effectively wiping out any hope which remained.
Welp. After some serious consideration, and many drinks and much smoke, we joined thedarksideHBC. THORN ever a pioneer, aided our alliance in becoming the first of the HBCs new members to take space in Querious even as we engaged in the coalition conflict against -A-. (After -A- needlessly shitting on us in Curse, this turn of events was quite welcomed).
We now enjoy a budding space empire spanning multiple regions with the space being used variously. Our conquests complete, we now seek a select few to help fulfill content delivering roles within the corp and possibly the alliance as you grow and become known.
Black Ops doctrine pilots (Recons, Bombers, BLOPS themselves, Cyno5, Covert Hauler alts)
Skirmish warfare doctrines (Recons, BCs, HACs, Logis, tacklers, and bubblers)
Coalition doctrines (everyone knows what those are)
Cap pilots (with focus on mobility and endgame dps)
Pilots should be eager to engage in small, medium, large, and server melting scale engagements.
