    Nope.

Sure, he does the occasional duckwalk. But he basically headbanged the whole fucking concert through (back in the day, at least).

Days later, at a gathering of nearly 250 political moderates convened by the centrist thinktank Third Way in South Carolina, some of the partyís most prominent center-left voices took the bait.
    big thinks going on here.

But that single quote says it all. He's an existential threat to the consultants and think tanks

It's three as far as I can tell. There's a group that believes in complete inaction (Biden, Pelosi, Turd Way), one that believes in timid progressive reform (Harris, CAP), and one that believes in sweeping social democratic change (AOC, Sanders, Warren)

One of these three is correct. The others are not.

Looking at how democrats are descending upon Biden, I can only expect infighting to intensify and gift Donald the elections.

What will be interesting is how he will defeat AOC in 2024 for his 3rd term.

Well yeah, by 2024 only white people will have the vote, as God intended.

Democrats 2016 "If only Joe Biden had run, he would have defeated Trump".
Democrats 2019 "Joe Biden is a creep and a racist!".

At very least we have a irreconcilable split between "moderate" "centrist" and "left wing radical" Democrats that will only grow wider as primaries go along.

By the time primaries are over Dem civil war and party split will be sufficiently under way that by 2022 GOP can have enough votes in Senate and Congress to overturn 22nd

I think that’s pretty unlikely. States wouldn’t ratify the repeal. Or at least they would be unlikely to ratify it by 2024.

More likely that one of the Trumpkins runs in 2024.

As for the Dems, this is a generational thing, more than a “civil war.” Old folks who already got theirs will stick with social liberalism and neoliberal economics, and back third-way candidates like Biden. Younger folks will skew more social-Democratic or Democratic-socialist. Gen-X, caught in the middle, and low in numbers, will continue to be overlooked. The 2020s will see the demise of the neoliberal Democratic Party as the older cohort dies out. And yeah, AOC 2024 will be a thing. Already hype.

Also I don’t recall anyone clamoring for Biden in 2016. After Hillary’s defeat, some of her supporters were singing the praises of Uncle Joe, but these folks were not numerous. I don’t think he had anything like an independent base of support.
