Bernie is doing just fine, mate. Pointing out the media bias is more like a “he’s doing great *despite* the media, and speaking of the media, won’t you look at their latest antics,” kinda thing.

ICE detention centres are basically gulags so that seems fair
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Sure would be nice to live in a world were so many people didn't put so much energy into telling other people how to live, huh?

US prisons are definitely forced labor camps.

Yeah the forced labor is a nice incentive for some evil people. But the comparison holds up even better because the original purpose of ~law and order~ was to lock up millions of dissidents and potential troublemakers

    Conservative Christian "values"

    https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/po...vpy-story.html

The 2020 Florida legislative session kicked off Tuesday, less than 24 hours after state Rep. Chris Latvala, R-Clearwater, accused U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fort Walton Beach, of having founded a long-rumored sex game played among lawmakers in the Florida House a few years ago.

The accusation came on Twitter at the height of a heated exchange between the two lawmakers after Latvala tweeted a picture of himself next to conservative bugaboo Al Sharpton and wrote, “It was an honor to meet @TheRevAl today.”

This prompted a reply from Gaetz, who noted, “Sharpton has called cops ‘pigs,’ whites ‘interlopers,' Greeks ‘homos’ and Jews ‘diamond merchants,’ so that is pretty disgusting.”

Latvala responded by accusing Gaetz of having “created a game where members of the FL House got ‘points’ for sleeping with aides, interns, lobbyists and married legislators.”
    meh

Thinking of the genius-level politics at play when the Obama admin announced it would stop contracting with private prison companies at the 11th hour of 2016

The Trump admin of course immediately reversed it, most likely before any of the logistics or paperwork had been done. So not only did you wait ages to do anything, nothing got done anyway!

yeah well that way he can proudly say he did something about it at one of his million dollar a ticket fundraiser events where he gets paid to speak and blame trump for reversing it while actually doing nothing

~ so just in case we're still keeping track, today it looks like Trump lackeys were plotting to kidnap/murder a serving US ambassador?

And yet it seems you can't even give one clear example of those 'antics'. How then is Bernie doing just fine *despite* the media (bias)?

Seems to me, Bernie got a pretty fair deal from the media this time round.

Yes, but Pelosi used a lot of pens to sign the articles of impeachment, so that doesn't matter all that much ...

Bernie is in a better position to dodge media smearing than someone like Corbyn because his message discipline is very impressive and he doesn't have the foreign policy baggage Corbyn did since his was always part of a more domestically focused movement. There is a media bias against him, just look at the framing of questions in debates.
