Darkwood - polski forest simulator 2017

It's a top down survival horror set in 80s Poland. You're trapped in woods, all roads are blocked - you can't get out. Woods are alive and want to eat you. It's T H I C C in creepy atmosphere, hard and unforgiving. And it has a wolfman with a kalashnikov, so there's that.

Could a mod move this to vidya board? The OP got lost in the woods on his way there.

No doubt it's got good qualities but can an isometric/top down game really be considered horror?

Considering the amount of simple textposts on the internet which are downright horrible: Why yes, ofc.

It's one of the best horror games I've played. Yesterday I was covering in a corner of my safehouse during the night just because a man simply appeared on the bed and said he wants to get out of the forest. And he sat there till the morning. It may sound funny, but it was legit tense.

I think I'm gonna try it, I like good survival horror games. Actually what endeared me to subnautica was the horror elements of the game..

The further, the scarier. Shit is getting very weird in chapter 2.
