I also feel like my PvP skills are returning so fucking fast - my ability to solo had basically atrophied as had my FCing, now both are getting good again.

Tier1 BattleCruisers, 1.5 hours, time to have some fun!
IIRC it started with >200 in fleet, a little shaky at first strong enemy contact while being broadcast on radio/streamed and with them being very tactical, but then several machs and T3s downed (and a shiny pod?). Next, once he decloaked first and got melted, Mang had a chap familiar with the active hostile lot take over FCing and doing well even with infiltrated comms & lolBCs, and that's about where I got caught out skirting the wobbly edge of a bubble rather than just playing it safe.

Arty thrashers and then thorax hulls for the next 2, was it?

Awesome fleet, cheers for FCing us to slightly surprising glory Mangala!
Let me tell you managing 220 people, some of whom have never flown together, some of whom have never flown in anger, is an experience.
Yes folks, it was Ganked 15: All Back of the Bus last-night and it was a memorable one.
First off we had advertised the roam on the EVE sub-reddit and it had also been arranged that EVE Radio would be in attendance, as a result we opened up the fleet to the listeners of Tranquillity's premier radio station, which resulted in over 220 in fleet at its peak. Which was a glorious sight, especially as 90% actually turned up in the hulls suggested by myself: Brutix, Cyclone, Ferox & Prophecy.
We managed to leave Rens back on time - and hit the low sec meetup to grab our blinkies, then piled into Great Wildlands and moved down towards Curse, with not much happening along the way, until we get into K-B2D3 where there was a large gang featuring Machariels!
It was here that the size of the fleet, the general unruliness of comms and my obvious sobriety came into play, with a total clusterf*** resulting from messed up fleet warps, to scouts calling stuff for other scouts to bits of the fleet trying to be warpins - and failing; we did score some kills, but lost a fair few folks along the way while doing so. But thems the breaks I suppose. I know now that my limit for "command" is around 150 at most for a Ganked, maybe 100 for more serious affairs.
And so we moved on, having realised that -A- had retaken HED-GP and are usually good for the under the shirt, over the bra action we all really craved we headed there. Your's truly decloaked first when we jumped into a gang of Zealots off a gate, luckily House2Twist took the reigns again and did a marvellous job from then on including a good fight in HED itself. Awesome work as ever!
By this time the fleet had dwindled downwards to much more manageable numbers, however apparently there was a sporting event in the USofA and many folks logged to prep for that. The best of us stayed on and ventured through Querious and into Delve, where we messed up some locals - we hoped they would bring friends but they didnt. Since we had not yet died, we decided to visit Test again, this time we went to Fountain. Took us some time, and some local spam, but the locals agreed to fight us.
We who are about to die salute you!
Except we did not die, we fought a drake heavy gang with logi support that jumped into us, and won. Well that was a new one for us.
Suddenly it was 2am and we meandered out of Fountain and through Aridia and into high sec space again, 30+ of the original 220+ left standing, having roamed over 100 jumps from the south east corner of empire to the north west corner of null, taking over 100 names along the way.
Overall a brilliant night as ever, very messy early on, but that improved along the way, and I know I need to drink more at the start of the nights now...
Next week we return to Saturdays, with the Kaley Cuoco Principle. I shall see you in Stacmon at 21.00 on the 11th February.
RnK just titan bridged 15 smart bombing battleships on to our thrashers

Derp, thought it was another Sunday op. Dodged a bullet
Pro offline mids there...
Ganked lasted 7 sevens and RNk wsa still the highlight. Too many risk averse faggots in null.

dps+tackle+hulltanked nano epeen ftw, totally winning a 1v1 vs a scimi until the rest blobbed it http://rvbganked.co.uk/kills/index.p...l_detail/2839/
Later on I caught 2 more from 50km away. Who needs dedicated tacklers anyway? Good night, fleet welped into an AHAC gang with 15+ guardians and bombers for a finish.
There's time to train Min Frig 5 in time for next week's rifter hull theme, and a week or 2 after it'll be drone-boats for the drone region.
Penisfleet go!

TIL:
Get in fleet early for the >2bil cap kill, CVA will bomb frigate gangs on every single gate as you cross their space, and SniggWaffe interceptors will tag-team with you one second then kill you the next.
http://rvbganked.co.uk/kills/?a=cc_d...=24&view=kills
The guys caught & killed a Revelation with support fleet in the lowsec next to the starting system before it was even official go time, then we roamed about learning that bombs aren't scary if you kill all the bombers before the bombs even go off. There's some long lost edge of nullsec mini market hub somewhere for reshipping who's name has now already been forgotten again. Generally any poor bastard who's someone's scout/flying solo will in fact be melted when jumping into 120+ frigs. Nullsec chimeras also like to test their non-triage tanks on station undocks. We mostly finished by finding Sniggwaffe had a tornado gang, plenty of tactical bookmarks and a willingness to share intel on pos passwords but needed some passers-by to help them hold down the drakes that were bothering them.
Every time I decide not to go/don't get a route something expensive always welps onto the fleet![]()
I killed XenosisReaper yesterday !!

My dulcet tones made it onto the fraps, proudest moment of my life.
Great night, we flew around and exploded stuff then my stuff too got exploded, operational success. I'm still a little emotionally sore because of being banned from the Sniggwaffe public channel after I put the two fleets in contact, they gave us a POS password and we got a bump in and we were bros, then we killed a prorator of theirs and they bounced around us in Ti3 Bc's a bit and i was spurned as our short bromance waned. But it was ok in the end as our Fc's kissed, made up and 3rd party explosions occurred.
Also, a special mention for our most illustrious scout Captain Hurrdurr who deserves mad props and big ups for making mumble a better place for us all <3
A key, key thing to mention is that half-way through we were orded to change the ship naming scheme to The Breakfast Club cliques as Mang was putting a new DVD on, where-upon we discovered some fleetmates were too young and/or too uncultured to know what this meant. Truely this was the lowest point of the night - worse than falling for the "lol this bubble's only 10km off of the gate, mwds on chaps, burn through... oh shit bombers" tarp.
Geddonz has put up the latest FRAPs now too I see ^
A break next weekend, so that's 2 weeks until the Droneships for the Dronelands night.
Edit: Oh yeah, and this guy managed to bomb himself. P sure he was the only one in that fail run and panic-mwded right after it...

Necro for one of the best Ganked nights in quite some time!
We rolled Golden Gods, anything Amarr/Lasers
http://rvbganked.co.uk/kills/?a=cc_d...=33&view=kills
IIRC the fun starts with the semi-afk lowsec form-up usual conga being fleetwarped to a lowsec cyno, near a station but actually accidentally at a deathstar POS with blinkies possibly smartbombing.
Great way to introduce new guys to the fleet, FC & general tone of the nights. Also Mang learns we can never leave on time even if he wants to.
Then we properly start heading off but find our route blocked by RnK's faction BSs on a lowsec gate with triage support and iirc previously-scouted numbers sitting on their titan, we are apparently offered passage but decline which would perhaps come to bare later.
So fleet heads out to null, tailed by scouts and with the usual infiltrated comms and end up clashed with an Agony frigate class who though we had undocked likewise. Clearly their scouts & FC need some lessons. IIRC we jump into them, both fleets bubble themselves & known regular individuals who had made their choice of which fleet to join this night were called primary by us.
With the usual RvB Ganked sebo fits, and rainbow lasers, it's visually like some deranged elastic band ball has been suddenly materialised over the gate as coloured lines crisscross space in a sphere. I had about 2 of 25 locking targets actually survive long enough to resolve. Many blue explosions and a wall of podmails later we dock for a bio & pat ourselves on the backs.
Next we start heading back to null, harassed by the usual handful of bombers. Scout reports a dictor bubble a few 10s of km from the next out gate but no visible dictor, we are fleetwarped as it's probably nothing. Comms becomes a very confusing mess which at first sounds like a re-enactment of a few weeks back when RnK did the smartbombing routine (I'm sure most had seen the vid and just chimed in), but as we glace at the overview and find a cyno is now dead ahead, and local is spiking, and dscan and then grid filled with reds in BSs, it's deja vu to the sound of the disco.
To be frank, the client doesn't handle this well, mods just lock and I see no motion towards the out gate despite inputs, I was stuck at a slither of hull for over a minute, then loaded grid afresh in a damaged pod for a good 30seconds, before finally being dumped in a station and having any control restored. Somehow a Harb managed to get out with a similar slither of hull.
Update clone, thank medical/jump clone locations, grab fresh insured ship and regroup.
A smaller fleet reforms to head out again, tailed by Agony still, Mang is busy on another comms channel with some fallout from the RnK trap while we get some more derp-fleet-warp about and come to sit on a gate with multiple hostile scouts watching us from tacticals. Agony come at 100km in their ewar-fitted frigates and burn away, seeming to choose to not use either of their guys at range that would let them warp down to us. We are somewhat tired, confused and disinterested in shooting the same names offered again (some for a 4th time this night [and good on them for reshipping], or having already been specifically primaried and thus desired killmails already obtained).
Just as they warp away, some Pizza (frig?) gang jumps into us, we engage so of course then Agony come back too, and then a Test Zealot + SFI with logis in the form of Guardians gang also piles in which makes it a 3 or 4-way to rape all on grid. Suddenly pvp from in front, behind, up down, everywhere
Throughout all of this the night is sprinkled with a few personal tales of burnt-prop-mod hero tackling/evading pirates in low and null and it's all in all a blast of a time.
Next week is nominally themed ECM
P.S. the Crusader is shit compared to the Slicer, for a bad inty pilot. dat lock & optimal range, and speed.
And a personal fuck you to snuffbox for that talentless camp of faggotry back in (of course) Tama. It was a full 2 seconds after the client said "In Warp" that the status bar appeared with lolnope, and then ages for some of you to whore on my mail.

Although the cyno was the same distance away as a station, I'm pretty sure It wasn't near one. I remember thinking 'Nah, that'll be a POS, it's in the middle of nowhere' as we started warping to it. My PC froze as we landed, next thing I knew, I was in the station. T2 Smartbomb got my pod.
Reshipped and rejoined the fleet only to freeze at another gate for a minute before the client crashed, so I gave up and went for a beer.
What happened to the Bestower?
