Edit: Thread - and evening name changed to "A Diplomatic Jam (For Vile Rat)" in our own little way of saying Rest in Peace to a guy who impacted eve in so many ways, and in an alliance with alt overload we will have many who flew with or against him.

All ships will be called RIP Vile Rat, and there will not be any offensive local spam about this etc etc. The eve community lost someone who really did make a name for themselves within it.

Epic, epic night. Where to start?! 13.2bil destroyed and 142kills posted so far
We had ~150 with talos, thrashers, canes, brutix, thorax, ruptures, etc, and some oddball things like hero ASB HIC, combat prober recons, scout Vindi.

First a BC gang started going GCC in low at 0km on the other side of a gate we were on to warm things up.
RnK go pipebomb someone else (91 ships ) after we've noticed they're being active as we pass .
We tango with and drive off a Red... something (was this Overlord or someone else?) tier3 sniper gang that would only stick around when they didn't hear from comms (probably, spais) that we'd managed cloaky warpins on them without probes.
AAA Blops BS gang goes horribly wrong vs our bait Vindi (RIP). Night is already a success w.r.t. isk-war.

CVA tier3 gang gets caught out and just crushed by DPS-fleet, everything gets melted by even a fraction of the fleet.
Assorted other small gangs and solo ships try to take our scouts/whole fleet and are brushed aside. Fail bombers, probed snipers, afk-at-celestial sabres, all manner of things. A 500mil lachesis from a smashed gang logged with aggression at ewarp from the sun, etc. Almost-caught T3s, carriers, marauders too.

Final epic fight with AAA goes on and on (surely a bunch of mails missing, also FRAPS is claimed to be epic) despite them having loads of logi and us none, we retain plenty of DPS to keep breaking reps for ages, and keep on top of them as they try kite (like 10minutes of solid brawling with them reshipping via JB 1 system over, and having full links). Loads more fun than their usual Pulse fitted armour BSs + triage hotdrop welp. Pod FCs, best FCs - ships are only good for putting a warpin + wreck right in their masses to get everyone back at face rape range.
Literally only ended with the last ~10 people unable to break reps on a cane vs 50+ BCs with ~8scimis. While ~40pods watched on/helped.

Short story:

150 men form up in Rens.

Go to Provi. -A- drop some blops on us, we kill them (after losing our bait vindi!).

We rape a CVA gang totally.

We keep going South destroying stuff along the way, inc a Legio gang.

Get to BUZ-DB and -A- + pets have found some balls, and throw a drake+scimi gang at us.

We die to it, but not before we have killed around half of it.

Did around 140 kills (still finding mails) over the roam today, 13b in damage.

And I fc'd it sober. Which is the strangest thing.

It was ok, we recovered thanks to others doing their thing, being tac bounces and leeroys, poking HIC tanks, etc. Sure we could have better communicated to the rest (remember teh noobs!) what our epic plan to get back in face-rape range was, but enough got the idea.

Is there a way to innocuously mute him when he's deading?

Also wish I wasn't caught at range at the start of the last fight, I was going to say keep aligned sun in case they do come at a tac, but you'd called burn into bubbles, and I couldn't just warp across grid to pile in or help broadcast to start with.
