Hey, Harvey Dent = Two-Face is like 80 years old, and it still surprised me. Ignorance of comic books FTW.

This. Not knowing who Gwen Stacy is is excusable, because she's been dead for decades (and is one of the very few comic book characters who stay dead), but knowing who she is and then going "Hey, why have they made MJ blonde in this movie?" is pretty derp.
Also, movie does not excite me very much. They'd better start highlighting how their take on the origin story differs from the last version or I don't think I'm going to bother going, just on principle.
I'm going to go play Mirrors Edge now and so should you.
Short version: The blonde in the trailer in the OP, and Spiderman's first girl. The writers decided that Spidey and Gwen were getting too serious and they didn't want to do a marriage storyline as that would make Peter too happy and he always has to be emo with a crappy life, so they killed her off instead. It turned into one of the defining moments in comic book history, serving as one of the major bookends on the long period of over-the-top silliness that is referred to as the "Silver Age" of comics.
