Railway policy until relatively recently was little more than why bother when nobody will ride trains in the future.
If only we'd built the grand contour canal
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.
I've lost that Simpsons pic of labour smashing Labour Choking Labour. Seems appropriateagainstill.

The right of the party just needs to accept the membership is more left wing than they are. They don't have to kick left every time they are reminded of the fact.
Funny how the media were so keen to talk about Corbyn's stalinist purges of the party which never happened whereas they keep quiet about Starmer doing everything possible to ensure the left of the party are either removed or locked out.
Remembering a prolific shitter with the reasoning skills of a toddler isnt trauma.

The left of the party has literally spent every moment since Starmer was elected trying desperately to undermine him, the EHRC and literally any credible attempt to make Labour electable
Meanwhile Starmer's end of the party has gone to pathetic milquetoast focus-grouping paralysis.
The Unions just vetod Labour support for proportional representation.... so that's that. The only reason for voting labour gone. And its the lefts fault, not Starmers/
The left of the party (which is largely just the membership weirdos being vocal on twitter) has done what and with what mechanisms of power within the party? Now contrast that with the PLP and their actions during the Corbyn years with actual mechanisms of power.
The Unions are a third faction of the party, and fuck knows how they see themselves aligned. They aren't really the 'left' since there's a negligible amount of union power outside of the public sector.

The unions are a relic of the past and are refusing to modernise to embrace the new working reality. They don't represent many of the workers who need them most.
They supported FPTP because their immediate concern is appeasing Starmer and maintaining their power within the Labour party structure.

Labour is a mess because they refuse to even attempt to resolve the tensions that exist between members and PLP.

That's not our fault, it's their fault.
