the stupid woman thing is probably a small thing to joe public tbf but to the press it's an own goal - here's someone promising a kinder, gentler politics who then says something arguably misogynistic on tv and then tries to deny that's what he said when it's pretty fucking obvious

like shit, he could be using this press space to talk about how he could do better for brexit but instead tomorrows papers will be all about this. amateur.

Not much of an issue, really, & wouldn't be one at all if he just said it was a regrettable choice of words made off the cuff & off the record. Tory's are just pretending to care because it's an easy way to distract attention from them.

You could stock up on the universal currency instead - 12 gauge shells.

Isn't it only military grade ammunition that has any value in the nuclear wasteland?

Nothing stupid about being at the top of a right wing regime.

Much as i hate the Tories, that's a bit unfair. Labour would be making just as much noise if the situation was reversed.

They didn't make as much noise when David Mundell mouthed "bitch" at Yvette Cooper in the House.

What were his views (apart from geriophila)?

I honestly don't see how he can be considered less of a populist than Trump.
He wasn't elected on his views. In the first round 55% of the electorate voted for neither Macron or Le Pen. Even though Penelopegate etc. made some of his competitors unelectable. In the run off Macron got 66% of the vote only because much of that electorate held their nose because they couldn't vote for Le Pen.

He was elected because of a political fluke, and will probably not be re-elected next time round (if he makes it so far).

To be fair to Macron, he never hid what he stood for. Anyone claiming now that they didn't know he was a died-in-the-wool neo-liberal must be lying or stupid.

Lets get back to the important things.

Less than 100 days until Brexit!

Also lol if anyone [Bartholomeus] thinks that May will be going anywhere soon.

This is interesting, but I'm not even sure if such an amendment can be introduced as it implicitly conflicts with the reality than "no deal by default" is already law.

    What's your socioeconomic class Meester?

I'm just wondering how long after 100 days you'll no longer be able to afford a data plan allowing you to post.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Interesting. It's almost taking back control by parliament, isn't it?
