Added context: this is wishful thinking. The article states that the projection is based on the US reducing tariffs on UK exports to the US. That isn't happening at all, see the proposals for trade deals the US brought to the table.

The only one reducing anything is the UK (on tariffs on US imports and their pants, for the US to more easily fuck them)

The US is the UK's largest trading partner after the EU, accounting for nearly 19% of all exports in 2018 and 11% of imports. The EU accounted for 45% of all exports and 53% of imports.

In other words we already run a trade surplus with the yanks and a trade deal will mainly be aimed at addressing that issue for Trump and the boys

While his response may have been a bit out of order I'm a bit disappointed at the blase attitude by the arresting officers.

De-escalation is always the first priority to the police.

Tommy Robinson is also known to the police and known to get violent at very little provocation.

Whilst he may well have more than 'a little provocation' here, he's a known thug who has punched someone. Arresting him is the right thing to do and the police are absolutely right to not gee him up by going 'yes Tommy we've arrested him and we're all going to kick six shades of shit out of him in the cells for daring to touch your daughter'.

Full disclosure: I watched about five minutes of the video which is five minutes more than I normally dare to deign to spend on someone like Yaxley-Lennon. Maybe they said 'yeah nah we actually didn't do fuckall because he attacked your daughter and we don't like you', and I missed it.

(Also it would be nice if Tommy showed this level of righteous anger when it was his EDL mates who were touching up kids but I might be asking a bit much of him)

Were there any of his EDL mates who were touching kids?

All truth passes through three stages.
    First, it is ridiculed.
    Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident..

The police are even less articulate than he is, why are all British people so obviously thick as pigshit?

Worse than Americans at this point.

Why would a smart person become a police officer?
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Honest stupid people might join the police

Dishonest smart people might join the police

Dishonest stupid people would certainly join the police

Honest smart people would never join though.

Richard Price, who was one of the founders of the EDL alongside Are Tommeh, was convicted of making child pornography.

Leigh McMillan who was a fairly seniour member was convicted of historical grooming offences over five years.

There are various other members of either the EDL or other far right anti-Islam groups who have been found guilty of various child sexual exploitation offences, but in these two cases Are Tommeh would've definitely known the two offenders. And yet radio silence from him.

Tommy Noncinson probably had his daughters hand squeezed by every one of those convicted child pornographers too.

Poor girl. Imagine having that cunt as your dad. Its one thing having a terrible private person as a parent, but a public twat? Good grief. No chance

You're Russian nonsense didn't work during the referendum so why do you think it will work here especially on someone who is known to quite happily watch Russians get blown up? Its a bit like accusing keckers of waving the swastika around and joining the Ministry of Silly Walks unironically. Speaking of which....

I am currently reading the second of the Kharkanas Trilogy [waiting for the author to get around to the third part of the trilogy [blames poor sales], lets hope he doesn't get all RR Martin on us especially when its called a trilogy] and yes it is indeed hard reading. In honesty it would probably turn a lot of people off with its particular language.

open borders, free travel and love for your neighbours?

That's not to say that the styles of the two series are similar; the author made an intentional choice to the contrary. Where the Malazan series sprawled outward, the Kharkanas trilogy sprawls inward; down scaled and as close to claustrophobic as possible.
ahhhhh thats why you like it
