Tories plan to break international law so that we can protect the sovereignty and union of the UK. This will not be used at all by Russia as an example the west breaking international law to protect their borders.
At the moment it is just culture wars all the way down with this government, there is no substance at all.
The plan to unilaterally break the Northern Ireland protocol will take at least 18 months to come in to affect, if it ever does, by which time there will probably be a general election. The aim isn't to actually change anything in Northern Ireland. It is just to provoke a fight with the EU, this excites the right wing of the Tory party and the general 'stick it to the dirty furrigners' crew.
Similarly, I'm sure they are delighted that the Rwanda deportation flight never left. Sending people to Rwanda was never about controlling immigration, it was all about nurturing grievances against immigrants and the lefty lawyers, who expect the government to act legally.
The Rwanda flight was supposed to be canceled, the whole thing was orchestrated so that the government could claim a win in either outcome.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.
Badum dum tish, 2 more bite the dust.
