Going to be hell of boost to swing a 17 point deficit. It's very risky and imagine she will shy away from it hoping things improve over next 18 months unless she feels the Tory MPs will move against her before this.

    Good news everyone!

Lizard Truss and Quasi Kwarteng have pinpointed the precise cause of all our economic woes and are going to take action to fix the problem.

    The cause? It's...

      Spoiler:
bankers not being paid big enough bonuses

And even better than that, new Health Sec Therese Coffey knows how to fix the NHS!

      Spoiler:
It's ending the use of the Oxford comma.

In fairness with current waiting lists numbers and the number of comma's in them, it will be very important to be able to have a handle on them.

My neutral opinion of Liz Truss didn't stay neutral for long.

Lets implement "Trickle down economics" you know the thing that has been proven not to work for the past 40 years.
I'm sure where every one else have failed, horseface will succeed.

It's good to see that Quasi Kwarteng has taken decisive action to help those most affected by the cost of loving crisis

      Spoiler:
by abolishing the 45% tax rate paid by people earning £150k+

It's burying us in debt but without actually offering any realistic route out of the recession.

We are going into recession with no prospect of growth and a crippling debt burden.

Government bonds have gone crazy since Kwarteng's Not-A-Budget.

And the Pound is now below $1.11

I remember Corbyn being criticised for getting his team to look at what options would be available in the event of a run on Sterling.

Then it is easy to blame this all on Corbyn.

Indeed, how could Jeremy Corbyn do this
    'I'm pro life. I'm a non-smoker. I'm a pro-life non-smoker. WOO, Let the party begin!'

Looking good for my vacation in the UK next year, everything will be nice and cheap.
Deregulation means I can carry a taser to get rid of all the malnourished beggars.
And if they are quick, i can already book a cheap room in a new hotel right in the middle of some of you nature preserves.
    Splendid!

Just have to time it, so i can be on the continent again before the hunger riots start.

Sidenote: I always thought the refugee fortifications in Calais/Dover were stupid, now they make sense.

So the british government is still going strong on their shock and awe campaign, I see.

I keep being shocked and awed at the veil breaking callousness. Fire sale of the UK, anything goes, get your piece of the rapidly shrinking cake while there is still some left.

And remember to fuck the poor.

My favourite part is how they have called it a "fiscal event" so that they don't have to publish the Office for Budget Responsibility advice on the impact of these changes...
