The BBC's incompetence is only that they've made their interest in supporting the tory party overtly obvious over the past couple of weeks.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

It's uncanny how their incompetence always favours one side.

Rumour has it Boris is planning a surprise visit to LGI. That will go down well.

I've never been more convinced that the Tories are going to win, and win heavily. We get the government we deserve.

Boris refusing to look at the picture and then putting the reporter's phone in his pocket should have been his bigotgate moment, but for some reason the media aren't going after him with the same gusto they did Brown in 2010.

I'm not sure why, it's one of life's imponderables. I mean, it's not as though they're all Tories or anything.
For real tho, even as a non-national the spin on the BBC when it comes to Boris/Corbyn is becoming painfully obvious. I can only imagine how bad the tabloids are.
Now you're beginning to understand brexit
And it all leads back to call me Dave, who, wisely for his party, refused to implement Levenson 1, and then refused to do Levenson 2 after the convictions.

All but two or three of the major press are designed to keep the Tories in power, and Tony Hall is so scared for the BBC, he can't countenance serious criticism of the Tories either.

Had this not been the case, Brexit would have never even come up.

Here is some good news though: The Torygraph is near bankruptcy (they still can't find a buyer for it), Fail and Fail on Sunday are losing readers at an alarming rate (Greig and Verity have not turned the ship around), the Sun is struggling as well, the evening standard has sold out to the Russians and the Chinese and is still in the red, the Spectator, the Mirror, all are in serious trouble financially. Yes, the dirty digger, the Rothermere's and the Barclays have deep pockets. They're also old, and if no one wants to read their propaganda anymore, what's the point? And as the Torygraph shows, who's gonna pick up when they're finally dead? These right-wing garbage newspapers? They're really struggling. And even if the Tories win this election, they're gonna fall over pretty soon. And good riddance too.

The problem is: it's not because people have had enough of their bullshit. It's because they can't compete against the 'false news' spread on social media and the internet. It's not the BBC either. It's the fact that something like 70% of the electorate get their news (and opinions) from the internet these days. The dead-tree press is just for old people.
Well, it will be enough to push the Tories into power and do a proper brexit where all public assets will be sold to the russians and the chinease and the inner tory circle will reap nice personal paychecks from it all.

At least they won't be publicly owned and operated though! That's the really dangerous future we must avoid

An observation that no-one likes your ideology except for your fellow echo chamber attendees is quite apt. What happened to the majority want to Remain argument? Surely a clever person such as yourself can explain why this Remain majority are not voting for Remain parties?

The USA government will cause far far more damage through brexit than China and Russia ever will, as we persue a"bend over and take it " vassal-state trade deal with them.

You should go have a read about what your Chinese friends are doing in poor countries in Africa and ask yourself, do you want the same thing?

We still have some semblance of regulated labour practice and aren't particularly resource rich either. The Chinese can make money off us by getting paid to do our infrastructure projects.

And then own the infrastructure when the contract is broken.

Exporting the American model of healthcare will be far more evil than anything China could realistically do

They'll attack the NHS through drug pricing and hospital acquisitions. Once the NHS is overbilled, and starved of resources, the argument will be made that the UK needs to switch to some convoluted public-private piece of shit

And why should anyone care about a contract wrt public goods that have been sold off? They can be nationalized against the will of their owners because that's what sovereign nations can do. It's an old story that will be replayed again in the coming future

I think the suggestion that we'll end up with some sort of American style healthcare system is absolute hogwash.

Any party which changes the model of 'Our NHS' to something other than free at the point of service will find itself unelectable for generations.

How quickly do you want to boil the frog?

Any party neglecting the NHS to the extent that the tories have would have been unthinkable at one point.

It'll start with small fees to see your GP, "Just a tenner, that's what they charge in scandinavia" etc

The Tories are probably still gonna win after 10 years of austerity. I'd say anything is possible

They're exactly like the Republican party in the sense that they implement toxically unpopular policies just to benefit their paymasters. It *might* get them voted out in the short term, but who cares if you get rewarded for being a good boy

Between 2011 and 2015 the real-terms spending on private providers jumped by almost 50%. We're about five years of concerted fuckery before your GP is replaced by some cunt from Babylon Health*.

*Said cunt is probably also your GP, but now fleecing you for eight times the money.
