The rich all got massively richer, and there's only so much money in the world. Every year everyone who isn't rich is getting poorer.

If we think today's numbers of food-insecure (real word: POVERTY) people are shockingly wildly high, we've seen nothing yet. Some of us here on the forum with a decent phone and a reasonable car and an okay job will be in food bank queues sometime in the next few years.

And when there's almost but not quite a revolution, the opposition government will be voted in and nothing will improve.

Because left vs right is a goaded, stoked distraction battle orchestrated by the rich.

So true, its amazing how many people I work with think that this is all Biden's fault in the US and blame the last stimulus on all of this (while conveniently forgetting the ones that happened with their guy). Also Biden flipped the "make gas expensive switch" on his first day of office and its all his fault >.>

However you want to paint it, only one side rapes children, animals and treats civilian targets as priority. No amount of mental whataboutism and relativism can make it right. Still the spice must flow.

It isn't capped at RPI, that's the new loan system. If you attended uni between 2012 and 2022 you're being hung out to dry by the proposed changes

It's RPI+3% while in study, then after a few months post study it goes to RPI+0% to RPI+3% on a straight line basis depending on income. Those earning 30-40k repay the most (basically 9% of all income over salary cap for their entire working life) but the new 40 year repayment term that is coming in skews it further.
