Notably higher low-end wages ARE feasible, as there's comparatively endless amounts of money to tap into that's currently taking the form of utterly non-productive parasitic payouts from "jobs" such as:

    -Investment banker
    -Landlord
    -Stockholder

Basically any "job" that is just "have money and make it make more money" is the problem at the foundation of the financial inequality pile.

"Why can't I find enough staff" asks man who campaigned for a large chunk of his workforce to be thrown of the country and then sacked the rest.

A tanker driver has told how he was tailed by about 20 drivers who were dismayed to discover he was not transporting petrol.

Johnny Anderson, who drives for Weaver Haulage, was transporting 44 tonnes of mortar from Bilston, Wolverhampton, to a building site in Northamptonshire.

When he reached his destination, he saw a line of traffic backed up behind him.

"The man at the front... actually said 'You could have stopped and told us you weren't a petrol tanker," he said.

It's also one of the most ridiculous words in the English language.
I was somewhere around Old Man Star, on the edge of Essence, when drugs began to take hold.

Champagne is much more enjoyable than queueing though.

I find it amusing that brits have similiar queuing culture developed as we do here, since we were forced to by communism, food stamps and all that jazz.

Boris Johnson: I'm not worried over jobs gap and rising prices
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-58800329

Earlier, the prime minister denied there was a crisis in the UK, despite a shortage of HGV drivers disrupting fuel deliveries and a range of industries warning there was a lack of skilled workers as a result of both the pandemic and Brexit. He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme the country was at a "turning point" and the UK's "world leading" logistics industry would fix the issues. The PM also said on BBC Breakfast that only 127 HGV drivers had applied for temporary visas offered by the government to help tackle the shortage.

But the Road Haulage Association said a three month visa "simply wasn't attractive enough for European truckers to give up their current jobs for a short term contract - perhaps only weeks long - with all the hassle, including short term rents, that would be involved."

Also if he was worried about it that would suggest he has to do something about it. Saying he isn't worried allows him to swerve responsbility given the totally docile press we have.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

I honestly can't comprehend how anybody can possibly look at the political content put out by the BBC and come to the conclusion that they are left wing and anti tory. It blows my mind how fucking dense some people are.
