Our current position within the Brexit fallout negotiations is utterly fucking retarded. With our current governments piss and vinegar attitude towards the Norther Ireland issues (and that fucking utter cretin 'Lord' Frost) we are not only going to piss off the EU, but the US as well (two of our largest trading partners). Great fucking job Cons, great fucking job.

We are already suffering significant parts and equipment shortages and supply issues in all areas of engineering industry (personally dealing with this, 15-16 week lead times on items we used to get overnight) and i'm hearing anecdotal agreement of the rather shit state of the UK supply chains from others in agriculture and construction. The only industries that seems to be unaffected at the moment are the housing industry (post supply) and the financial industry.

Considering that the supply issues are hitting rest of the world also I'm not that surprised that the Mons Special Country that has chosen to isolate and have a tantrum is getting the short end of the stick and feeling the issues the most. With no end in sight for the chip shortage and haulage issues it ain't getting better anytime soon.
