Because the party is still riddled with internet champagne socialists who think it's OK to go around loudly proclaiming their love for a bunch of neo-Stalinist hate preachers and their undying hatred for anyone who dares defy them all because their dear leader once said he'd like to nationalise the fucking railways.
Ah yes the old "champagne socialist" thing.

If you stick up for the poor and you've got a few bob, you're a champagne socialist.

But if you don't have any money, then of course you've got a chip on your shoulder or you're jealous of success.

Tell me then, who exactly is allowed to criticise the neo-liberal policies of the last forty years?

We're talking about you falling over yourself to save Comrade Seumas and Dear Saint Jeremy from anyone who dares suggest they might have made even the slightest hint of a mistake. Such as when you suggested the literal hundreds of people stuck in the party's carefully engineered disciplinary backlog are literally all there because there might not be enough evidence to proceed, while finding time over the bank holiday weekend to eject one of your most prominent critics without any due process is perfectly normal operation.

Which you did. Today. Like, three posts ago.

Like I said, in the aftermath of this electoral disaster (losing all of Scotland ffs) and the party finally being brought to heel for its egregious failure to deal with its hard-left antisemitism problem the clothes are finally falling away from the emperor. Corbyn and "Corbynism" are now synonymous with hatred, incompetence and petty vindictiveness. They must be purged from left politics if it is ever to be relevant to the British public again. Don't be the lunatic who tries to slow that process down because you fell for the lie that he stood for a kinder, gentler politics of the left wing.

Any chance of Labor dropping Corbyn any time soon, and is there any one of value left to take over? seems like now would be a good time before any important elections happen and after they have had things pointed out to them.

No. The party's executive and constituency parties have been stuffed with cronies and the rules adjusted to ensure that he cannot be removed and any successor not of his tribe will face a huge uphill struggle.

Thanks, sounds like it is finally the end of the labour party after years of not knowing what they were they finally decided on the one thing most of the electorate don't want. Shame the next 20+ years of UK politics are going to be mudslinging about who fucked up Brexit and the economy it would have been interesting to see the how much change really can occur with one of the 2 parties in a 2 party system dropping out.

So no criticism of neoliberalism then.

Do you really think losing all of Scotland has anything to do with the antisemitism?

At the root of both situations is the same incompetence unfortunately. The bullheaded unwillingness to look reality in the face and do something about what your advisors are telling you will be a problem in 6 months.

Not that this is anything new or limited to the labour party, just that it's a bigger than usual problem right now.

He's a weak leader and his hedging of Brexit has failed. And no, you don't need to stand up for a WMD liar and soulless political operative to criticize him. That's 100% anti-Corbyn brainrot

Wow, the antisemitism meme is still holding? Poor Corbyn. The 11th commandment, "Thou shall not criticise ethnic cleansing and policy of apartheid if practiced by the state of Israel".

So Corbyn is so bad that he lost Scotland for Labour even though he wasn't leader when it happened in 2015?

Being democratically elected to a committee is "stuffing" now?

But yes, I agree with Alistair Campbell that Labour has had a problem with anti-Semitism.

Here's one of the most egregious examples: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/camp...r-7275427.html

No. That's why the word "and" is in there. It's a conjunction. Used to connect two distinct clauses. As in:

    1) Jeremy is the figurehead of a group of hateful neo-stalinists who have infected the party with antisemitic tropes and SWP student politics from the 1970s
    and
    2) Jeremy is electorally incompetent, having led the party to its worst result in Scotland since 1910 and somehow managing to lose London of all places to the Lib Dems.

    See how it works?

Er, yeah pretty much. The NEC in particular was targeted for the control it grants corbyn over the disciplinary process, which he has intentionally disestablished to prevent his mates being called antisemites, and the conference drafting process, which is how we came up with that disastrous suicide note of a "composite motion" that no one asked for.

Eh, whatever makes you feel better about falling for the lies of a bunch of prehistoric, crusty, jew hating stalinists.

Well this will end well. After all, Boris has never profited from being given a stage on which he can aggrandise himself.

What's so hilarious? The Labour party is the first party since the BNP to face enforcement action over its failure to comply with equalities legislation. You can trot out the usual "oh but the tories and islamaphobia!!" all you like, that's not a club any of us should be laughing about being a part of. This isn't a joke or a meme, it's a constructed, malicious effort by a bunch of crusty old white men to marginalise an ethnic minority all because they can't disentangle the state of israel from judaism in their minds.
