Eugenics ultimately leads to a loss of humanity which is why in the end the Nazi's loved animals more than people. Not to say the natural word shouldn't be cared for but you look after your own house first. Limited eugenics might be preferable and restrictions on what it should be used for but ultimately it might be simpler just to stop it altogether.

Google's decided what "taking back control" really means, and is taking back control of our data: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2020/0...uk_data_to_us/

    I'm feeling conflicted.

On one hand, this is a gross abuse of badly-written anti-terror legislation.

    On the other hand, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHA

The Netherlands saw the biggest wave of Brexit-spurred moves to the country last year. More companies are likely to follow.

That’s according to the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA). In a statement published Wednesday, the agency said 78 companies decided to move to or expand in the country last year, adding to the 62 firms that relocated there after the U.K.’s 2016 vote to leave the European Union.

The agency is still in talks with 425 firms considering moving or expanding in the Netherlands because of Brexit, up from the about 250 it had mentioned last year. These include not just British entities, but also American and Asian ones that are reviewing their European structure and operations.

“2020 will be an important year for these companies,” said Jeroen Nijland, who heads NFIA. “More and more companies are not waiting. They’re opting for the certainty and security on the European Market that the Netherlands offers instead.”

The blue passports will be made by Gemalto, owned by French firm Thales.

"Hey dumbass they make all your food and clothing for cheap and work 10x harder than you" kind of skips the critical stage where we acknowledge them as humans rather than nifty little work-units who give us cheap avocados. It's also classic neoliberal mindset to pit two struggling groups of people against each other in a cage match.

Maybe Pret could pay English people a decent wage?
Looks like you missed the point completely to rabble rabble about England for the English

It should pay everyone a decent wage, especially immigrants.
Why should immigrants be especially deserving of a decent wage?

We should be looking to train our own Doctors, Nurses and Engineers etc. Those people who don't have the ability to do those jobs should be incentivised to get off the dole and get cleaning and picking fruit. The UK should not be poaching professionals or labour from the global south unless absolutely required.

Well if Conservatives want British people to decide to train to be doctors, nurses, teachers, etc, maybe they shouldn't have spent the last 40 years absolutely shitting on those professions.

It will just make me laugh at the desperation of the former EU citizens, even more so if they get turned away from their EU holiday for having a false cover.

There's no such thing as a false cover. Passport holders are common.

You're too "patriotic" or too "common sense" to go abroad so you wouldn't know.

    The fucking gammon.

Poland treats me like shit and I hate them as a result of it

    There is no such thing....

    First, it is ridiculed.
    Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident..

You can take it that he can't afford to go any further than a day out at Southend.

It's pretty normal to have a case for your passport. Being a sensitive document that's prone to wear and tear after all

Well I don't use passport covers, that is not the same as not going abroad which I have done for the last few years.

But its still the desperation of those clinging to something they no longer have.
