They won't ask, and the talks are going horribly - which is great news if you're Jacob Rees-Mogg.

Calling that disingenuous is an insult to disingenuine people everywhere. That is what we call an outright fucking lie.

Keith Brown, SNP deputy leader, said: “This statement is a gutless capitulation by BBC bosses. Newsnight should be commended - not slapped down - for their serious investigative work on Cummings, that’s not something you could say about the BBC News at 10.

“Pandering to 10 Downing Street by curbing journalists from being able to hold the UK government to account is of serious concern.”

An SNP spokesperson added: “It’s ironic that the only apology over the whole Dominic Cummings lockdown breaches scandal comes from the BBC.”
I am constantly baffled by the conservatives (and friends) dedication to making the SNP look good at all costs.

    Another good reason to be angry at politicians;

Didn't the BBC go after the SNP bird who, you know, resigned after travelling when she wasn't fucking sick?

she was their chief medical officer (not a politician)

tricky one though - if her in post saves more lives than the damage to the messaging should she have resigned? don't know.

So you have now abandoned the 'you're a Stalinist Nazi' line of attack and now you are putting me into the general totalitarian dictionary. I questioned the EU, found it wanting and kicked it onto touch. How much more anti-authoritarian can you get?

Shocking that that Maitlis woman broke the rules isn't it? Glad she was replaced. Time to have a good old clear out of socialists in media etc.

I didn't call you a Stalinist Nazi, I said you'd fit right into their respective regimes though. You like bootlicking, both regimes were full of bootlickers not questioning their dear leader.

Nobody is able to give Duck any Reputation at the moment because he's whoring it all in the HOBOLIFE thread.

And the U.S.A. Don't forget that less votes = win here too. The only way conservatives can win elections is by cheating.

There's more to democracy than the ballot box.

Unless you are a fan of the tyranny of the majority? As long as enough people vote for it anything goes right?
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Isn't Tyranny of the majority what everyone is demanding for the USA to unseat the GOP and Trump?

What is democracy then - most votes win, a system where the majority may not win due to geographical spread, or just "it's only democracy when my side wins"?

Going into an election everyone standing for office knows the rules as they stand. If they are unable to win under those rules then they don't win.

When not done properly, democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch.
