It's always an interesting thing to get an insight in to how a man thinks and his motives, and twitter has proven that if you give an man enough rope he will eventually hang himself.

So the TL;DR is still a bit long, but for anyone living under a rock, this is the background.
* Thai teenage soccer team goes on a team outing to some caves. Its rains REALLY hard and the caves flood trapping them inside
* 3 days after being trapped they are found. People come up with a few ideas on how to get them out but they range from crazy to outright dangerous. Looks like digging them out is the best option.
* Someone points out its the wet season and digging them out could take a month. The cave will likely be full of water by then.
* They go with pretty much the only remaining option which is to teach the kids how to dive. Pull together a team of over 30 extremely experienced divers, almost all of whom are ex-navy.
* Teach the kids to dive. Get a group of 4 out. News gets out that one of the holes they have to swim through is about 30cm diameter.
* One of the Thai divers suffocates in the caves. This really is super dangerous as the guy was ex-navy with a very good service record.
* Get the second group of kids out.
* About this time, Musk out of nowhere turns up with a 'sub' he's made out of spare rocket parts. He just kinds drops it off even after being told its not needed.
* The last group of kids and the coach get out.
* One of the divers in an interview gets asked about the sub, says something like he didn't think it was a serious effort and looked more like a publicity stunt.
* Musk loses his shit in a twitter back and forth, and eventually calls the diver, who just literally risked his own life to save these kids, a pedo.
Worlds longest TL;DR over.
