    Blistering [Monday]

We appear not to have a Monday thread..

I walked a marathon at the weekend...now I can't walk properly as the blister on my left foot became infected. It feels as bad as gout would feel (not that ive had gout)

      Spoiler:

    It was https://www.macmillan.org.uk/get-inv...pathmightyhike

Raised a couple of hundred quid for charity (I didn't fund raise much). I've got a relative suffering with an autistically bad type of cancer.
"I think we could all do with sitting back a bit and detaching ourselves from the situation to really think about how these issues reflect on our future and how we discuss them here and be a bit less aggressive or defensive because everyone has a complicated set of circumstances that has led the to place importance on particular issues and it doesn't meany any of them is less valid, we just need to look at the broader picture"

I finished the second draft of my novel (more novella, but still.) I feel a lot happier than after finishing the first draft and have sent it off to someone to take a look at it.

Now, for whatever strange brain satisfaction reason, I'm thinking about relationships and romance. And listening to an album an artist wrote about her relationship to her child. All very Freudian about creation.

Sitting at the doctor for my annual exercise electrocardiogram. Pretty smart in this weather: 24C, humidity of 88%.

Let's see what the doc says.

I'm off to some more manual labor. God I love and hate festivals.
I was somewhere around Old Man Star, on the edge of Essence, when drugs began to take hold.

Started at 120/80 which is great considering I have a severe case of high blood pressure and take some very strong medication for that. Apparently the highest was 280/80, though my doc assumes a measuring mistake on the low end by her nurse.

Went to school to look into our digital class register set up. This will be an interesting project.

You stayed up to watch a marketing event full of video game publishers engaging in self congratulatory masturbation for a bunch of games which won't live up to their hype?

Each to their own I guess.
