    It's [WEDNESDAY] already?

    Time flies. Sort of.

Fact of the day: Germans love the Wild West and have an extremely romantic view of it due to the books of a 19th century German con-artist turned author that never had been to the US.

And people have been reenacting Native Americans and identifying as members of certain tribes for decades.

Went outside to cool off but didn't fancy being dusted with ash from a brush fire.

    I loved Karl May's books.

    this bloke died last night.

his Frenish was something of a national institution at this point, in a country where you have to pass strict language tests the royal-consort gave no fucks and still spoke a unholy amalgamation of French-intoned Danish over 50 years after moving up here.

beyond that, post-lunch classes are cancelled due to some bigwigs getting a tour or something, dont know, dont care, going to head home and play some more Warhammer Total war 2.
    Viking, n.:
    1. Daring Scandinavian seafarers, explorers, adventurers, entrepreneurs world-famous for their aggressive, nautical import business, highly leveraged takeovers and blue eyes.
    2. Bloodthirsty sea pirates who ravaged northern Europe beginning in the 9th century.

Hagar's note: The first definition is much preferred; the second is used only by malcontents, the envious, and disgruntled owners of waterfront property.

Well I just had, I think, possibly only the second argument in my whole life with my old man where I've actually shouted at him.

Somehow, reading that Wikipedia page made me sad. I know for some it isn't important, but his decision to not be buried next to his wife was really sad. Some people wish that was possible, albeit it may mean being nagged for eternity ^^

I can't wait to get home and do likely nothing (or play botes.

Restarting therapy in March because I'm feeling unproductive. Sigh.
