Also i'm trying to find out if i ever gave ps1 a try, it looked mildly familiair.
But the client download from their site is terribly slow (<1kb), anyone know of a faster way to find out if you ever had an account?

The PS1 launcher is all you need. The login check happens before it downloads the client.
