Installed Perpetuum yesterday, got a question:
What framerates do you guys get? Mine are about 20-30, and considering the looks are, well, not exactly stellar, I was wondering whether those are 'normal' numbers.
Currently running a nV 9800 GT and Athlon 6000+
(Also, both times I played so far my head begun to hurt about two hours in. I hope playing this doesn't literally cause me physical pain.)

nV 8800 GT (aka nearly the same if not 100% same as OP) and E5200 running at 3.2GHz. 1680x1050, 2xAA, 4xAF, shadows and view distance on medium, all else turned on or at high, I get ~10fps around Alpha terminal but get into 30+ when in the wildlands.
So, pretty normal then.

Playing it on my laptop and changing settings absolutely influences nothing at all. The performance stays the same. A bit laggy at terminals but very playable outside.
