Cap isn't tank, especially with no active rep element, and he has an injector anyway, silly.

The cap is for getting clipped by heavy neuts, and to also keep me running when Im running ALL MODULES at the same time, altho, I have notices that for all intents and purposes I find myself rarely injecting.
The ship has proven itself and has gotten me 35 kills in the last 48h, with 30 or so of those being in a 24h period, and ~20 of them being solokills.
I stand behind my fit and ship as it works extremely well. I have compared it to the arty wolf and have every reasons to beleive this would win.
I actually recently lost to an arty wolf, but that was becuase I waited til I was in half shield to engage as I wasnt sure I had him pulled far enough off the hostile blob. He was in 17% hull - litearlly one more hit and he'd be dead, where he had me in 1/2 shield from the "start".
=-D
1. I don't have a titan
2. STFU til you've watch this vid(and it's sequel) http://failheap-challenge.com/showth...?6119-So-Bad-1 , and then tell me I can only fly titans/am a bad subcap pilot.
I swear to god this whole thing is BS
Yeah that video was pretty bad.
I think I found a reason to plug in genolutions.
Lowsec and/or Providence obviously, although since i give zero fucks about my implants, I'll probably engage sabres with it anyways.
Genolutions allow you to fit both the Nos and the Small Hybrid Implant.
Fit and damage profile below is with: Geno CA-1 and CA-2, plus +5% and +3% damage implants (SH-605 and SS-903)

Corpii C-Type Small Nosferatu
Small Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Small Hybrid Burst Aerator II
312 DPS with null at 7.1+4.4 (heated, implants, as you always heat during frigate fights)
436(!) DPS with void at 3.8+1.6.... I'd use this to kill vagabonds IF i thought I could catch them :/
391 DPS with CNAM @ 2.5+3.1.... good for ganking ceptors faster than the null load if you land with a scout on the gate or something.
9,632 EHP (with an obvious EM hole... but the T2 small em rig is absurdly expensive because :T2 Rig Market: )
835m/s (1087 heated) which leaves a lot to be desired but the range control is good....
capacitor should be a non-issue (8.6km nos, should be holding range around 7.5-8)
edit: didn't realize navy MAPC was only 10m isk... so it's not too unreasonable....
Swap in navy MAPC and Gistii B-type AB for 913/1205 speed. Put a Zor's hyper-link in and you can push it up 1249 but eh.
2nd edit: Obviously the fit, particularly with the navy MAPC, requires perfect fitting skills, although you CAN have hybrid weapon rigging IV.
SU V, AWU V are both musts. 239/239.05 CPU, 81.34/81.41 PG (w/ rigging IV, 81.02 with rigging V)
Oh and of course for "solo" a 4-link loki makes this thing in to a nightmare by mitigating the speed issue both in terms of being able to tackle and base speed, as well as pushing EHP up a bit.

I tried to be cool and all I got was a lousy warning about my sig being too big.

They're 8.5m. Someone's either talking out their ass, is clueless, or mistook "complex" nos for "storyline" nos(aka upir, which is in fact 80+).
NOS + Blasterfit on this ship is generally retarded either way; just fly an enyo. This ship is built for rails. If you HAVE to go for blasters, you should be utilizing your awesome range bonus and will be out of nos range anyways(but it's still retarded)...
Prometheus suggested the COSMOS nos for fitting reasons since I was suggesting that the fit above was good with genolution implants + small hybrid implant (slot 6) + sharpshooter implant.
And 7.1km optimal range + 8.6km nos + 312 overheated dps (with null) is a pretty mean combination, I don't see why I'd push all the way out of webrange.
I could perhaps see swapping a magstab for a Tracking extender and fighting at 9, but playing with the edge of tackle range like that in a slower ship is a bit dicey.
the dps is pretty nuts... and the nos is more for fighting above weightclass anyways. I might switch to TE lows, 2x neutrons / 2x ions (TE so still fighting at 7.6ish vs frigates) and go MWD to try to do things like catching vagas, where the nos will counter the neut on the vagabond.

Single tackle mod / high tank for fighting against HACs (particularly vagabonds) although load Void to take those on.
Swap down to web in place of invuln to fight vs. frigates
As is
Cap stable (as long as ASB is chewing boosters, obviously)
7.71k EHP (8.3k O/h), 245 (336) tank
227 (261) dps w/ null @ 5.9+3.5 (vs. other frigates)
318 (365) dps w/ void @ 3.2+1.3 (vs. bigger stuff)
^ Dps numbers with typical +5% / +3% hybrid implants in
swapping to web gives you:
175 (220) dps tanked
6k EHP
and way better range control against frigates.

No webs without tracking bonus means you prob gonna be sadface tbh. Esp with an mwd fit(no range control, tracking issues possibly)
If you wanna do the ridiculous tank, just roll a merlin or hawk tbh. Single MASB isn't very useful, you just run til u run out then diaf. You lack the EHP to reload ur booster 99% of the time(certain exceptions apply), and despite all the "hp/ehp" discussions on MASBs, they don't give you anything at all once you're out of boosters except an empty capacitor (then a 60s waste of a midslot).
ASBs work on many ships, but I dont think they work that well on these. (I tried one on my fit, slightly modified, still didn't really like it tbh)
It's still significantly more EHP over time unless I derped the math somehow.
And I noted the invuln for was for fighting up a weight class.
The web fit version still steamrolls most other frigates (hell the MSE variant does)

Web version without expensive co-pro, but more ganky:
