The only issue I've had with it was a random crash, nothing severe just force shut the game and restarted. Think I'm on the 4th chapter now.

You might not want to run this on a potato though.

Performance has been fine for me. I did have to download a driver patch specifically for the game from nvidia though, it was crashing every time during the opening cutscene.

I downloaded that hotfix from Nvidia and it didn't help, updating to the newest Windows Creator update fixed it (first time for everything I guess)

He's just wrong about the gameplay. Stealth is reasonable in this game, not Assassin's Creed BS where moving more than 20 feet away from an enemy means they won't see or hear you. Having played The Old Blood and the original New Order it doesn't feel like they made stealth much different.

And the absurdities of the story were there in the original so really not sure where that point is going.

Damn good game. Would shoot Nazis again. and again. and again.

I agree with yahtzee i think. The stealth seems to not be an option anymore, i generally prefer to clear full levels without beeing detected, or atleast op to the commander, and it was often an option in TNO and also somewhat in TOB, but in TNC it just feels impossible to find a path. I keep reloading until i find a path and often just couldn't find it. This probably also explains my long time to complete it, am not at home now so can't check playtime, but was around 22hours for me to complete. There were some crashes and lost time on savefile that should be subtracted, but generally to me it didn't feel too short.... but this might be greatly explained by playstyle as explained above.

While the absurdities in the story might be about the same level, the world and characters that help support that story just felt more fleshed out and likeable in TNO.
I do like TNC, but TNO is imo much better possibly 8/10 vs 10/10

Why would you stealth a game that lets you dual wield shotguns?

hehe whenever i gave up with the stealth i would rape everything dual wielding the fully upgraded assault rifle, headshotting everything, both close range and way into the distance. I found the shotgun to be really shit, even fully upgraded it took several seconds to kill anything if it wasn't in melee range

I'd be kinda annoyed if I bought this full price at launch only for it to go 50% off a month later tbh

Not even mad TBH. Happy to throw money at a great game that's not infested with loot box MT's.

I don't mind levels like that as at a harder difficulty it forces me to treat it like a puzzle, which feels great when you beat it.
