Good luck getting an electric car with a transmission, doesn't need it.
And you have obviously not driven one, as they have insane acceleration due to no peak torque.

Want fun driving? Get a bike.

Having actually driven a Tesla on a track (Monticello Motor Club) I can categorically say it was quite boring.

Behold Keckers pondering the class component regarding EV usage behind a dead horse.

    That horse is just resting.

Silent electric cars are a problem in pedestrianised areas.

Those goods were provided to the pedestrian by the invisible hand of the free market mate. Are you questioning the wisdom of the market?

You're not. All high end cars already do this, including the tesla.

They're not, because silent cars don't exist.

I'm saying the market needs to innovate and make stuff like avoidance technology, etc, standard, along with metro networking substrates where things like positioning data can be monitored in real time to interrupt the users attempt to shut out the world with handy and timely collision warnings and other UX feedback mechanisms. This would work along side assisted autonomy to create new paradigms of transport. I mean, terrorist threat alone says we probably want larger, multi ton vehicles humanless as fast as possible.

Yes, but nowadays BMWs spend all their time in repair shops.

For the record, I daily drive an Audi.
