The apex predator of the Dutch is the German.

Holland is no "habitat" for an apex predator. It's an almost 100% artificial landscape, full to the brim with people, roads and houses and practically 0 square kilometers of any kind of "wilderness".
You might as well introduce grizzlies to New York, see how that works out.
I was somewhere around Old Man Star, on the edge of Essence, when drugs began to take hold.
The grizzlies can battle the rats for trash food.

The landmark research blames chemical pollution from plastics, farm fertilisers and pharmaceuticals in the water.
Previously, it was thought the amount of plankton had halved since the 1940s, but the evidence gathered by the Scots suggest 90% has now vanished.
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???
I'm almost ready to bet that we will within the next 10 years:
- bring the planet over the edge of where it could have been saved
- develop Fusion power
- Find the secret to imortality
At least then i can be sure that god exists and really is an absolute asshole.

"For the past few days, it has been hard to look at social media without coming across a scary-looking report from the Scottish newspaper The Sunday Post. "Scots team’s research finds Atlantic plankton all but wiped out in catastrophic loss of life," reads the breathless headline. The article claims that a survey of plankton in the ocean found that "evidence... suggest 90% has now vanished." The article then goes on to predict the imminent collapse of our biosphere.
There's just one problem: The article is utter rubbish."
Well, how should I put this?
I consider my conversation skills above average, i.e. I typically don't lack words to express myself or comment on a topic. But when a bitter, over-the-top satire all of a sudden becomes reality ... ?!?
