    Please make links yellowish-goldenish like they were on SHC, they're nigh impossible to distinguish without wasting time on a mouseover

    Great job on the new forums.

    But it looks like we can't edit the thread title of threads we have created anymore? Sure was a handy feature to have.

    Aren't they underlined now? I changed that yesterday.

    Although I liked the SHC one best: golden link; golden + underline on mouseover; darker if in history

    So, how do I disable "Quick reply" again?

    Also, do I need to adblock the "envelope" icons in forum view or what's up?

    Overall, vB is easier to mod.
    Haha, thanks. I have been running/modding a phpbb3 forum since it came out, exported from a phpbb2 forum I was running. So that system I more or less know inside out. It is far from ideal but has been acceptable thus far. I think you told me everything I need to know. Thank you!

    Also I don't consider writing your own CSS override to be messy. Just override the stuff you need to. We can f5 if needed.

    The way I do it, I try to mod as much as possible using the StyleVars, then I generate the CSS files and run a PHP script that totally transforms it.
    It's just a long list of str_ireplace and regex replacement. Btw, the shades of grey are dynamically generated.

    For example, this is my line to get rid of the curvy lines:

    $content = preg_replace("~[a-zA-Z0-9\-]*radius[a-zA-Z0-9\-]* ?: ?([0-9]{1,3}px){1,4};?~","",$content);

    Probably been asked already? (not bothered trawling through 15 pages) but when you post a new thread is there any way that you can have the quote/url and other functions visible so i don't have to manually type them in? and the same with the reply to thread button, all i get is the quick reply box with no options for quoting or adding url's unless i add them manually how do i fix this?

    Pick standard editor instead of basic at the bottom of the list of options.
