Liking the new changes to the red skin, though whenever I hit "reply" the little loading graphic that pops up next to "quick reply" never goes away, and that's a bit wierd.

New annoyance spotted with the skin - links are the same colour as basic text, with no underlining, so they're default unless your mouse is over them. Please to be making link colour different.
Really needs to be more contrast between topic titles and "Started by" etc. In fact, it seems like the colours are the wrong way around for this anyway - higher contrast for the less important info (who started it).
To be honest I thought the original FHC skin was pretty much perfect and with this new one it is a case of not knowing what worked and what you'd taken for granted until you see what doesn't.
The grey borders around everything are too visible too.

- Background should be #000000 or very close to it, this weird dark grey isn't dark enough.
- The grey borders (if they are there at all) should be closer to the current BG colour
- The overuse of grey is a bit too much imo, there's just too many variants of grey being used

Can we get rid of the automatic marking of threads as read? It's annoying to leave the forum for 20 minutes and come back to everything marked read.
Also an ability to disable smileys would help me forum whore

I personally like the different shades of grey, but I'm going to redo a lot of stuff.
The timer used to be 15 minutes, I increased it to 1 hour.
I'll disable that tonight.

I've just loaded the forum, and I just wanted to tell I'm happy to have our grey skin back. Much better than the default VB, even if there are still a few bugs to iron out!

I appreciate your help, but that doesn't solve the problem. I read a bit of FHC in the morning before work and there's a whole bunch of stuff I can't read at the time, so I leave it for later. Unfortunately, when I come back, everything from the last time I was on the site is now marked read. There's a setting somewhere to change it to a system where it doesn't automatically mark everything read.

Please make the brighter theme optional, so you can choose between the light/dark. I find the current theme to be very settling to the eyes and easy to read. Very satisfied with the results so far. Again nice work mate
+1 Hating the fucking timer. Why it exists and if it has to why it isn't a personal option is beyond me. It's not like there isn't the mark-forum-as-read option, and fucking sorting by date. How hard is it to not read a thread older than you care for? Is anyone benefiting from this 'feature'?
The default (what's enabled now) is the best performing option for the forum, the other method (storing the read status of threads/forums on the database) puts more load on the server.
