    [Thursday] Distracting Cyclists

I find myself mesmerized lately during my commute by the posteriors of fit cyclist ladies. I hope no one notices.

our new Danish language teacher is scared of computers, originally Norwegian and spends more time waffling about nothing than can possibly be considered reasonable, she has so far spend 30 minutes describing the principles of a Essay (we did eight last semester) and aren't actually handing out the source material we're supposed to write said essay about.

i am going to hate these classes aren't i ?

When I got especially testy, I used to calculate the per-minute cost of the lecture to me. I mean it just made me angrier, but it was a few minutes distraction at least ...

Swabs returned from lab, Influenza B. Doc only swabbed the 'rents - it's improbable I have a different strain. Nice to know it's nothing outside the norm. Since starting antihistamines yesterday and proper cold & flu medication today I feel about 40% better, might even brave the shops tomorrow for fresh supplies. They make fresh chicken noodle soup in 1L tubs for just $8, it's a god-damn miracle product.

Yay for getting out of the client early, boo for train tickets not letting me leave London before 7. Shouldn't have too long to kill so might not be too bad.

First day/night test in England started today.

Apparently the pink ball they're using turns to shit after 20 overs, and absolutely anything could happen during twilight when the lights come on. Should be fairly interesting to watch develop over the next 5 days.

I have actually slept properly for the first time in literally months.

This feels quite nice, I should do it more often. Now to deal with the sore throat.

Another pleasing early morning commute. Although i almost collided with a crazed boomer who felt the need to stop in the middle of the cycle path and scream at the Trump hotel.

Speaking of cycles, the Netherlands saw 3% growth in its economy last year apparently, a record number. Groot Nederlands!
