It's painful, but it's worth it. Make sure you keep up with the flushing - you really don't want to get clogged in the first few days, but be gentle.

Got clogged in the first 12 hours, sadly. Some stuff is coming out tonight, though. Also, I am not supposed to blow my nose.

edit: And after doing some reading, I'll have to do some rinses.

I know so many people (including my self) who have has sinus issues in the last year. Is this a covid related thing perhaps? (tin foil hats on) I doubt this is similar to you but i had to go on steroid sprays for ages to sort it out.

Not necessarily, however it is a respiratory virus and can open up "the grounds" for bacteria so sinusitis is double possible, just as with any other respiratory microorganisms.
