MT Issue #19 - Pay AUR for NPCs' seeded items

talked a bit about that elsewhere, but though making a poll could still be useful, in case CCP had though about it

    what does it mean ?
would be things like BPOs or skillbooks.

it does NOT means removing normal way.
it means adding the option to buy these with AUR stores, meaning at any station.
goal would be accessiblity : access to basic skills on any station (pretty useful for nullsec for example, or simply when you're bored moving)

    limits option would be :
    - only stuff that is avilable on all noobs station (ex : ORE BPOs are NOT for example)
    - price must be greatly > at ISK's price (to avoid traders being put out ; someone wanting to import these on nullsec could still make a profit by being cheaper that AUR)

issues raised on other topic :
    - remove an ISK sink.
    - profitability for CCP may not be enough for the coding cost

Would also mean that you are buying security unavailable elsewhere. I have gotten quite a lot of juicy prints and books from loot over the years .. making things like that available outside the regular market makes no sense.

it's the same, you can put them on market after if you want.
the difference here is that you're paying AUR and not ISK at 1st, and for that you can get them on any station and not only some.

it's npc items at 1st, so, be them bough from isk or aurum, they are on both case created from thin air.
what change is the ability to obtain them easily and at which price.

would like to have others people saying why you said no btw.

It removes risk from the game. If you're at war and want to buy a skillbook, you no longer need to think about where to find it, you can just buy it for AUR and have it delivered right to you. You can also sit out in 0.0 and resupply your corp of skillbooks without having to deal with logistics.

It lets you create items at an arbitrary station or outpost with no in-game cost, and reduces the need for effective logistics and simultaneously reduces the ability for opponents to intercept said logistics.

Also means you could eliminate the risk of transporting expensive BPOs, so no.

Don't quite get why this has been so aggresively downvoted...

Being able to buy a skill book in 0.0 as you haven't bothered to have a highsec jump clone would be fine with me. As for BPOs... maybe don't allow it but realistically you have to be pretty shit at EVE to die with a load of BPs

Removes a market, and if you want a skill book then risk undocking and go get it - or pay another player to bring it to you.

Countries do not exist where I am from. The discovery of the Higgs boson led to limitless power, the elimination of poverty and Kit-Kats for everyone. It is a communist chocolate hellhole and I'm here to stop it ever happening.

This can potentially replace the need for 0.0 logistics, same as Interbus for AUR would. I'd rather that not happen.

Punishing people who are shit at EVE for being shit at EVE is one of EVE's major components. The important thing is that you put in the required effort.

the biggest issue IMO. Also, the kids who cant afford a titan skillbook with ISK can now borrow mommy's credit card and buy a titan skill book.

    can already be done ;

take momy's cart -> buy plexes -> sell plexes for ISK -> buy book

the only interest of this thing is to lower plex stocks, and add a little something nice

Totally unnacceptable as it removes an ISK sink. The second part is wrong because *PLEX*. Also I would beat the fuck out of my kid for that.
