Because someone thought it was a great idea to release 2 episodes a week in Canada. Geniuses. It will be impossible to avoid spoilers now.

This is a season of extremes.
Episode 8 was the corniest thing I've seen in ages. Episode 10 is not only the best butt pager episode yet, but possibly the most epic episode ever.
Episode 10 was certainly the best one out of that bunch with 11 being good. I can take or leave the other 2.
When is Glimmer going to get an official seat at the table since its now evident butt paging is not only for the 'main' characters.
And for the most interesting thing to happen in this season.

Daybreaker's design to a T two months before the episode aired in Canada? Something funny is afoot.

Ugh. I'm fine with the CMCs, but I can't take having their episodes back-to-back-to-back. It's just too much at once. Episode 8 should have been saved for later on in the season.

What is it with pink manes and pocket dimensions..?

A Luna episode!
A Celestia episode!
A Luna and Celestia episode!
*squee*
The last few episodes have not been to my liking. But this one, oh man, that was awesome. Tons of screentime for the princesses, a not-so-subtle acknowledgement that while they're all Princesses, Celestia is the big cheese, and paranoid Twilight. Heck, they even got some cutie mark shenanigans in with Twilight Glimmer!
I know that not every episode can be an inward-focusing episode like this (it's not meta, but it's almost entirely devoid of the Mane 6), but it means I can really appreciate it when we do get one. This episode made fantastic use of the characters main personality traits, and gave us a bunch of interactions we haven't really seen before. The pacing is spot on, the jokes are good, the emotional beats are carried just seriously enough without hitting you over the head, etc. As a self-contained episode (and not part of a season opener/closer), this is going to be in the running for one of the best episodes of series. Which is a welcome development when season 7 hasn't been very stellar otherwise.
PS Evelgrivion, I think it's only appropriate that in the spirit of this episode that we switch jobs. You can be the resident smart-ass and only person left who actually plays EVE, and I'll be the moderator of the least respected forum here![]()

An interesting point regarding "A Royal Problem": Back in Episode 6, right after casting a spell on Big Mac, Starlight says "And, I guess my first instinct shouldn't be to magically command ponies to act the way I want them to?"
Old habits die hard, I guess. Also...
It's a nice hairstyle. AJ should wear it more.
Ahh yaks. Everything is better with Garry Chalk.
The moral of the episode was about as heavy-handed as the yak horns, but it was enjoyable none the less.

Was that the last of the 'leaked' episodes then?
