Latest episode very good, slowed down a bit but some great interactions and story.

That final 2 mins where Miller does his techy stuff is funny
"I think we could all do with sitting back a bit and detaching ourselves from the situation to really think about how these issues reflect on our future and how we discuss them here and be a bit less aggressive or defensive because everyone has a complicated set of circumstances that has led the to place importance on particular issues and it doesn't meany any of them is less valid, we just need to look at the broader picture"

    alright, riddle me fucking this

      Spoiler:
there are 30 billion people on erf

a nuke vastly superior to the fucking tsar bomba hits what looks like the biggest city in south america

only 2 million in the blast zone?!

    FUCK

the fireball alone from a measly 10mt nuke would melt 2 million in fucking today's moscow

don't even get me started on the railgun and the IPBM velocities far above the speed of light, what a BUCKET of bullshit from the best sci-fi we had in years
that's not the first things to trigger me this season but they sure drove me to butthurt about them on FHC

or maybe im remembering the first two seasons wrong

      Spoiler:
yep, it's been a night and the estimate is still below 2 millions

first they cut the scene's virtual length from days to a minute for cheap tension

then completely miss the chance for real drama

    its mindboggling

    >FINEST MARTIAN TEKNOLAJI
    >can spot thermo through dozens of meters of concrete
    >has about enough power for 5 minutes of running
    >sports an inaccurate ammothirsty gatling
    >can't take a 10 meter fall in 0,18g without catastrophic failure

Sounds like most of the lockmart done went to mars, eh?

I feel like you're complaining about the passage of time in a 60 minute TV episode not being completely literal

“There were aeroplanes circling us, I was having cakes delivered, there was a whole thing happening. And then really smart people, whose opinions I really value creatively, started reaching out to me, saying, ‘have you seen this show, The Expanse, it’s actually great.’ I hadn’t so I spent some time, I watched the show and I was like, this show is actually really well done, why is nobody watching it?

At the same time, Jeff Bezos was getting emails from everyone from George R.R. Martin to every captain of industry, like the founder of Craigslist, and they were all writing, saying, there’s this show, it’s so great, you have to see it, you have to buy it or save it.”

idk the third season is somewhat of a butchered mess development-wise, probably because they tried cramming in two seasons' worth of events in it
    bobbie is bad as always
anna still barely registers as a plot device but has promise

    love the pirate dude though

The second season was the same.

The changes between books is really abrupt.

I disagree with you about season 3 though, I don't think there has been a single episode I have disliked.

honestly I'm not particularly wow'd by the last 2 episodes. We've traded a bunch of enjoyable characters for an escape the room adventure

We got a whole lotta slow episodes ahead of us if they follow the books.

How about just putting some brakes on a 1-minute 4 AU travel? Wasn't aware FTL existed in Expanse.

Decent, but not amazing, some actors are quite bad (Bobby) and there tends to be quite much immersion breaking stuff, but then again there isn't much to choose from in scifi currently.

Truth. Calm your tits, it's not early GoT. It's a dodgy script played by subpar actors with some moments of brilliance.

    Thanks, that really calmed me!
