"I think we could all do with sitting back a bit and detaching ourselves from the situation to really think about how these issues reflect on our future and how we discuss them here and be a bit less aggressive or defensive because everyone has a complicated set of circumstances that has led the to place importance on particular issues and it doesn't meany any of them is less valid, we just need to look at the broader picture"

Further justifies our household being multi-year prime subscribers. Good for Amazon/the space sci-fi genre.

Thanks guise for saving it, I still haven't watched anything from season 3.

Anyone got a link to the first book that I could read on phone while traveling?

Season 3 is great. Far better than the second half of season 2 imo

Nice. Balloons are fun! With any luck I might get to help launch a few this summer - it's very interesting to see something you helped build go up 35 km.

I am very pleased that it will continue. I am also pleased with the way going through the ring at space ship speeds effects the human body.

Finished watching the first 6 episodes of season 3. Mother of God, best sci fi on TV since BSG's first season, perhaps better. Excellent military sci fi, the spiral of events on the agatha king was perfect. Knowing what I do about the books, they are really going to have to shake it up a lot to keep up the intensity because Cibola Burn really sucked.

I don't know. Cibola Burn always struck me as something that was bad in a book, but would work quite well in a TV format. With the way they are blending the books together in the series, I think it could work.

      Spoiler:

The boring stuff on New Terra can be run through really quickly, straight to the good bits, due to the format differences between books and TV. It could also be parallel run with some of the more interesting stuff that's happening in and around the slow zone, the gate disappearances and the collapse of Mars.

This season is on fucking overdrive, every episode keeps delivering.
    Another week to go

And stop slagging on Cibola Burn, it was great for advancing the plot and story
