1. ## Emergency Math Question

So I have an exam in a couple hours and this is on the review. This was never covered in class or through the homework (it was optional, I tried to figure it out then but couldn't).

Anyone know how to do this? From reading the book as far as I can tell it should be:

(p*f'(p))/f(p)

which would be

(25*-2*(25))/(2500-(25)^2) = -0.666666667

But that is apparently wrong. I also don't know how to do the last part of the problem.

Any help?

2. Are you sure it's not 7%?

3. 6

4. 7 mate.

5. How do you get 7?

EDIT: Also, 7 is not correct.

How would you know, you admitted you have no idea how to do it and now 2 people have said 7. OK 1 person snap said 6 but fhc gona fhc.

7. Well I figured it out, the equation is actually -(p*f'(p))/f(p).

8. Code:
```>>> f = lambda x: 2500 - x**2
>>> d1 = f(25.0)
>>> d1
1875.0
>>> d2 = f(25.0*1.1)
>>> d2
1743.7499999999998
>>> 1-(d2/d1)
0.07000000000000017
# Sanity Check
>>> d1*(1-0.07)
1743.7499999999998```
I calculated it and I did a sanity check, I'm pretty confident it's 7% unless something is fucky with the grader (which based off my time in uni is almost guaranteed).
Are you just entering 7 or 0.07?
Magic Maths? I'm not even sure where that's coming from, assuming missing domain knowledge.
