They did. Took away some of the more illogical disadvantages of the short-ranged ammo types, nerfed some of the others. Conflagation is actually worth using now, if you aren't shooting anything small. So is hail, people tell me.

Blaster ammo is already identifiable on TQ: AM is beige-white, Null is green-white, but making the difference bigger is cool.

null is unchanged, void got more DPS and still has poor tracking. Worth carrying now.

I just stumbled upon Mittani's SOTG in which he mentioned that the NC died. Wtf happened there?

Could somebody give me a summary of the events that lead to this? Because I really like this development .

NC tried to invade Kalevala in December, got repelled after 3000 dudes packed into LXQ2-T. Drone Russians bided their time, then started attacking Geminate. Rebellion Alliance got Haargoth'd by Daroh, massive super-cap battles were had over O2O and low-sec staging system Uemon. Eventually Geminate fell and RAGE/Brick got moved back into Tribute. DRF started grinding Vale, a less massive battle was held over TVN (RAGE/ME staging system), which the NC lost.

A month of grinding down Vale follows, with Mittani drawing a line in the sand at Tribute. Russian victory day comes along, Russians fly around tribute dropping SBUs everywhere and reinforcing everything with 100+ supers in a drunken ball of hilarity. NC forms up for H-W timers, Russians no-show. A few weeks later, Russians and Venal Coalition (NCdot, PL, Merciless) start attacking Tribute in earnest, Goons and NC initially fight back. Vuk logs in, sets last stand for some weekend a month ago - everyone hostile forms up and waves their supercap dick around, NC stands down 800. Goons reset NC pets and say "fuck 'em", everyone starts evaccing.

And that's about that - the final stand was WH-JCA station and like 6 CSAAs, but NC refused to jump into 20+ titans set up on the gate at optimals (Raiden, PL, NCdot, Merciless only - no Russians). After that it was all over - not much to be said, sov grinding and a few smallish fights over tech towers, but no serious resistance.

Sorry if I've misconstrued the timeline or something, it wasn't intentional. It's all just a bit hazy now - one 5-hour CTA blends into another after a while.

Basically, the spur containing tribute, tenal, venal and branch are lost, along with the alliances that held them, who have generally buggered off to NPC space. Mostly Harmless is about the only old-NC alliance still standing, if you can believe it.

What are the main skills required to be in a front running alliance? Drakes? HML II?

I think (unless its been stolen) I have Equium with a logi V, amarr/minni BS V plus their T2 weapons and was thinking of going gallante and becoming a subcap specialist. I did have a char with Carriers but i think that went haha!

for subcaps, the main doctrines are alpha-maelstroms, amarr mid-range (death knell of drakefleet), AHACs and Tengufleet.

we've been solo reinforcing CSAA towers. There's NO resistance.

What's the best way to make isk in a solo fashion? Got pretty much everything maxed, and up to 3,5 maxed amarr BS pilots if needed, also a couple of caldaris and 1-2 gallente and min (can't even remember). But I'd have to start off with 1-2 chars.
