New fuelled shield boosters, new "reactive" armor hardener, changes to capacitor batteries, awful inventory screen, and the removal of color from the ship models are all Inferno features that I'm aware of. Is there anything else important that I should know about? I've pretty much been out of the game the last three, almost four months except for skill changes.
And yes I know about the U'K drama too.
They redid the wardec system but it's kind of the same anyway? They added ingame killmails, nerfed incursions to the point where nobody does them and did something to FW (no idea what). I also think they changed can flipping but I'm not sure about that either.

Can you talk more about this? Is it really not worth doing them any more, or only not worth it in a "i'm an elite market pvper with 77 trillion in isk" etc.
If it's the first, that kind of sucks because I wanted to get back into Eve last year, I gave away a lot of my stuff when I left, didn't have much left subcap wise except a Guardian. The suggestion was to join up to Incursion fleets with it, but I kind of didn't get round to it somehow. It would suck if that option's gone because I can't stand missions any more, such drudge work, and I need to make some money if I was to resub, especially with the stupid high prices for everything. I tried some market trading, moving shit around a couple of regions, but that got irritating and I didn't make much anyway.

They are prob equivalent to just a little more than L4 isk except you have to pay attention a lot more. On the other hand you have ppl to talk to and if you get in a good group then the isk rate can go up a bit further.

The genius that part-ran the legion blitz lot I was with half-tried to get us to give it another go this weekend just gone. Yes, the first AT weekend + Delve war kicking off + other things like RvB Ganked being on. That and poor clarification of date & time means they're still not doing a thing and haven't been since the first few days/week after the original patch. The recent minor roll-back was isk & influence bar only and doesn't seem to have changed a thing w.r.t. activity, might take CCP several more weeks/months of being retards before they sort the site spawn changes that are the real problem now (I believe a backlog of the worst kind of sites spawning eventually stops each running fleet each day until DT reset/:timezones: ).
AFAIK there's really only ISN for a shiny shield fleet left, doing VGs and AS in mostly arty Machs. Can you fly a Basi? If so I'd see about trading to that Logi and joining up. Else find some high end w-space bears who'd want a guardian, or wait if you can until CCP fix their shit.
Can't believe it was once a major expansion key feature and so so busy, now a wasteland of full CCP retardation.

Nullsec started to make me not want to log in anymore so I'm rejoining RvB. Bittervet status is [re]activated.
Level 4 mission income has not substantially changed since 2009, but some details have. There are only three types of missions now, and each one has a social skill to boost LP payout by 5% per level. I forget if the other social skills changed for income or standing. Also there are some battleship spawns that occasionally occur in lowsec now, if for some reason you must PvE there. They aren't especially common, and the payout is between 500,000 and 800,000 depending on sec level.
T2 is several times more expensive than in 2009 for many items and frigates.
If you're talking T1 ships, mineral prices have driven their production costs up over the course of 2012. I was appalled by what I saw last night while perusing the market. Some T1 ships are more expensive than they were in RMR. Of course I'm looking at this from a purely consumer standpoint. I'm clueless as to the background behind this (other than drone region mineral change.)
Pretty sure i have a BS on both accounts in place for lvl4's but that was only for when i needed instant cash.
I generally made my money from exploring into DED complexes and blowing through escalations by just killing the triggers and selling the Pith/DG items on escrow. Whether i've still got an Ishtar and Pilgrim kitted out for it is another matter. I assume that's still a viable money making option?
