C though I've only ran into that term on hifi forums when speaker placement was discussed.

Wife Acceptancy Factor, but yes. Also highly relevant in speaker placement discussions, along with TV size. The WAF tends to be inversely proportional to the size of the TV.

    Pros:
    - my god 100Hz ultra wide looks so gooooood
    - dat immersion

    Cons:
    - Very low WAF ("sure, it looks nice, but what did it cost?")
    - Constant raging boner in pants..

Now downloading DCS and the Viggen Module. Time for autist gaming. Also; BF1 in 21:9 and 100hz with Gsync and a proper GFX-card is pretty sweet.
You overclocked your screen the proper way?
Both on the Screen and in the nVidia driver?

And welcome to the 21:9 family.

You mean in the nVidia controlpanel? Yes, it's set to 100 Hz both there and in the monitor menu. Thanks; it feels great

BTW; are there any way of watching HBO/Netflix apart from the Chrome Add-ins? I can't believe they don't support proper 21:9? Or are there some hidden settings?

Not that I'm aware of. But I just use my gargantuan tv.
And well done, you did the overclocking right.

I think all the clowns that don't get 100mhz from the X34A doesn't do the changes in both places.
Difference between 60 & 100 is quite surprising, I could not have guessed.

Well, to be fair, it came up in one of the reviews when I did my research, so knew about it. Though, to be honest, if you buy a 1000 monitor and don't bother to find out if it's actually 100 Hz instead of 60 Hz, you are a special kind of idiot and sort deserve it.

Add to that the 2-3x 1080 Ti you need to run anything recent with meaningful details at that resolutuion and 144 FPS

Gaming over 1080 is a meme anyway.

Gaming in 21:9 in 100 Hz isn't a meme - that is for sure.

21:9 vs VR is a meme though.

    Because 21:9 ALWAYS WINS.

My 21:9 monitor was expensive as fuck, but I have never regretted buying it.
It has the same "epic feeling" as when you got a SSD for the first time.
