I think that the basic concept of what Airow suggested is absolutely correct.

Keep it classic. Has the best effect and knowing the chinese understanding of "the foreigners" culture will have the best intended effect.

Although imo it should be mingled with some lighter stuff, that still manages to keep it culturally attached. Stuff that I have in mind (just a suggestion):

Well I definately support using the Team America theme song once or twice, but I think it'd be better if for most of the music, we used stuff we actually liked listening too (also that Dropkick Murphies song is p. good). I say we throw in some classic Wu Tang Clan tracks becuase 1) Wu Tang Clan is hella good and 2) they use a lot of quotes from some kung fu movie which adds a little irony too it.
