FINAL MATCH Outbreak. vs HYDRA RELOADED 21:30

it doesn't really matter which bunch of lols addicted spacktards used who's setups, the results are just decided by one attention seeking whore licking the arse of another to avoid actually having to put themselves out on the line in public and running the risk of being exposed for what they are. which everyone knows is just a bunch of socially stunted drama queens, for whom the height of wit is pretty much posting penises in local chat. This shambles has pretty much made me question the entire concept of pvp in eve... now i think about it, i used to be in a corp with garmon years ago (heretics or something) and i don't remember him being any good (he'd just fuck around losing rupture against anything he met), and i went on a roam with don pellgrongo and he just sat at 60km in a drake being fucking useless and got my sleipnir killed, and only time i came across podcat in eve he just sat on a gate at 0km tanking arty canes until he popped without ever shooting anyone... apparently bait tanking or summat. how can all these people possibly have made the fucking pvp videos that they shit out like so many golden nuggets from the arse of a pvp goose? if they can try and fake pvp in front of 20,000 viewers to win it's pretty much guaranteed that ALL the pvp vids were fake too (especially as i have seen first hand that all of them aren't good at spaceships at all). a lot of people look to those pvp vids like 'garmonation', and pvppp and whatever the fuck podcat makes (or am i confusing him with intigo again? they all the fucking same) as some standard to aspire too, same as the AT... if you are willing to fake one it doesn't seem a stretch that the other is faked too, it even seems likely. what is sad is that people have taken inspiration from this sham and actually gone out and done the things these clowns fake... like will adama and zach donnell (ok his last vid was shit, maybe he spends too much time with don pollongo now), so there's people out there that ARE good, but they don't get a chance to shine because they're drowned out by the capering shit flinging monkey troupe that is hydra. fucking 4am but can't sleep, i know i'm rambling but gotta get this shit off my chest. you guys are ruining eve for no fucking reason.

It was always on the cards that when these 2 teams got together it was going to be decided outside of eve.

However I do appreciate the "we fucked up!". You really did! If you had gone at each other hammer and tongs, then once the fight was over self destruct, it would have been a joy to watch.

I speak for myself here, but I would have LOVED to have a go at my BFF's. Yeah its fair that hydra gets the gold medals (fuck the isk tbh its about e-peen) but I would have thought you would have tried to rape each other first. Which looking at the "apology" thread, looked like the plan. Although sources tell me it was too complicated and you really tried to be "pro-wrestlers"

But it didn't work and will always be remembered as the "FUCKED up final!". Best team won.. SURE! But like when Chelsea won the FA cup and Man U couldn't play in it cause of some shitty cup in South America it will be remembered for that... rather than the best team winning! Which is a hell of shame.

Best thing about the Final I was in, was the excitement of the commentators, the "Trousers are OFF!", the 1 curse trying to find more cap injectors, the 10 minutes after the fight when the studio commentators were going through it, talking about it.. IT WAS MY BEST TIME IN EVE (tri mrk1 finalist - silver medal). Its a shame you fucked up the fight so badly that they didn't even speak about the final back in the studio. You will regret that MUCH more than anything else. Sure the ISK and the ships and the medal will help.. But it will always be the * alliance tournament.

Great tourney, FUCKING EXCELLENT COMMENTATORS! Great teams, I could see 5 teams from day 1 that COULD have won it! Was, overall, a great weekend watching internet space ships blown up. Best team won, I think so. Deserved winners, just a shame they fucked up in the final to rob themselves of that "extra" feeling. But then again, knowing Geno's the tears in EVE-O is SO FUCKING worth it. But I think inside they will be hurting a little at their fuck up.

Very surprised, it was the best tourney ever imho. Yeah the final was bad,, as explained. But I didn't think they would take it personal. I always thought the tourney was not thought of as very important as a marketing tool.. BUT HOLY SHIT THEY MAD!

I think you're right, we don't at all need to have a stance and an opinion about matches. We do on the other hand evaluate the ruleset after each tournament, based on those matches. It would be fair to say that up until now, we've been able to have a relatively open ruleset and still provide good entertainment to the viewers. Most things that are left open like this, are left open until someone inevitably crosses the line and you have to revisit that openness. Will we need to revisit the rules based on what happened this year? Probably, but we won't know for sure for another year
