I bet he pissed his pants and won't admit it
I did play it at 2 am, in the dark, with the house empty, and the sound up.
Pants are clean.
It's a well made game, and quite fun. It would be scary for Daniel, but I'm not Daniel. I'm the guy running him off a bridge, to see what it sounds like when his legs break. A very satisfying *crunch* *Argh* btw.
You're so cool
Behold, the god among men, the one being not scared of Amnesia, has graced us with his presence.
The whole "I'm not Daniel" reminds me of a review who wasn't scared of some horror game because it didn't abduct his family(the only frightening situation for him apparently).
If you play video games while detaching your ego from them, what is the point in playing? Seems like a waste of money to me. The fun starts to happen when you identify with the character you are playing (see Eve Online). It's like going to a movie and making sure the screenplay's dialogue is grammatically correct and uses sufficiently challenging ACT level vocabulary before you can be certain that you enjoyed it. That said, I found your Amnesia 'review' to be very amusing.
I finished this game by drinking about 2 and half litres of Rum in separate sessions.
FUCKING CHOIR. FUCKING FUCK. FUCK THE CHOIR
I'll be getting this to scare the gf with as alas I don't think I can be scared by games any more. I lack the imagination I used to have or something... Been all scared out... But she screamed a lot at doom3 so I really must see what effect this game has. Predicting sleepless nights. For her.

I bet you'll like the monster in the first water area, he's a real champ.
So I popped into the guest roomSpoiler:
This game is pretty good with the whole scary element, ie being extra careful not to actually let you see the nightmarish horrors sharing the castle with you. And also to discourage you from actually looking at them. Very clever design.
