I find I'm failing hard as Kennen, anybody got tips/advice? Going Doran's with an Mpen red, HP/level yellow and CDR blues with HP quints seemed to do better than using a caster runeset.
Also can any of the following work (reasonably) as a jungler, was curious lately:
Poppy
Jax (I think I tried this once but wasn't good at it)
Renekton
Nasus
Sion (especially interested in this one)
Yorick (With the buffs, should be ungodly)
Taric
Teemo
Nidalee (also especially interested)
personally I roll 9 0 21 Kennen masteries with mpen, energy regen/level, magic res/level and flat health. You have a very limited energy pool and from my experience you never have enough energy left over after your intitial burst to actually spam spells afterwards. Q > W > Q > E > Q > R, max Q, another rank in E at some point then Max W, slam those Qs in to whoever you have in middle. IF you can hit them enough times after you get your ultimate you can flash R Q W E ignite for double stun + first blood and after that its a cake walk as you can just zone them, if they try and attack you when you E towards them you can tag them W Q again good bye large chunks of their health. Be careful for people like Annie who can throw an equal/higher level of volley onto you, can really ruin your day.
Before you try and kill someone get hte stacks on your W up first, get the charge up so you can AA Q W and they are stunned, I do this whenever I get the chance as you can get a cheeky AA or two in.
Oh and a pretty simple thing that most should know...YOU ARE NOT A TANK, DO NOT FLASH IN AND ULTIMATE TO INITIATE A TEAM FIGHT...Unless you have zyhonas hourglass, in which case knock yourself out.
Items I tend to roll Sorc boots/merc treads, mejas (your ult tags pretty much everyone every teamfight), rylai's (the slow from your Q is devastating), then whatever I need really, Magic pen? Void staff, Getting heavy focused? Hourglass/Guardian Angel, not being focused at all? Deathcap/generic caster AP item
Poppy - Can be done, but its dog awfully slow and not worth it
Jax (I think I tried this once but wasn't good at it) - Think it can be done but again pretty slow
Renekton - Can be done "ok" I believe, so much better in a solo
Nasus - Can be done not very well, so much better in a solo
Sion (especially interested in this one) - Again can be done but so much better in a solo
Yorick (With the buffs, should be ungodly) - No idea
Taric - Can be done, but its more of a joke jungle
Teemo - What?
Nidalee (also especially interested) - Can be done but I believe it requires a heavy amount of clues and is pretty slow
Basically all of those champions can jungle but there is literally no reason to pick them over the you know, good junglers (ww, noct, udyr, fiddle etc)

Kennen is a bit UP atm, for good ninja play akali. You shouldn't jungle any of those chars.

Vayne seems pretty ridiculous, built just boots + Triforce + Infinity Edge and was getting 1k+ crits. Triforce proc every 2 seconds is pretty ridiculous too.
Feel like I should abuse this more.

I farm a lot. I usually end up having long games with ~200 minion kills, so getting that much gold is pretty common for me.
Vayne does more damage with that farm than anyone else i've played recently, with the possible exception of Jax. Hence my post.
She also dies very, VERY quickly and is 100% single target.
I dunno, Vayne is still in a good place, and i'm still terribad at her.

Oh god, I reached 392 AD on Sion...our game started out shit and we even considered surrendering at 20 but we kept playing. The result?
I think I hit 4.2k hp with the red elixir at the end

You give any AD carry champion those items they will do a ton of damage.
What makes Vayne ridiculous is that she does damage that you cannot itemise against making tanks redundant against her.
She just snowball too fast. Still, anying doing her on AS instead of crits is welp.
Anyway, decided i am not going to play split push nidalee anymore in ranked. Not any soon i mean. Took me 30 minutes to convince my team that yes, i can't be the only one warding, hell i did 2-3 wards all the time in their jungle as i was pushing top but it wasn't enough. And that, they should pressure not fight mid. "wt i mean you wanted us to go for them". "so what we push but not push wtf man". DERP.
Nid in ranked hasnt worked out for me either, usually because the team comp was just... wrong. Whenever i take her i end up with a team that gets AOE-burst down before we can do anything. She works well if you have, like, Malz, Corki, Jungle Jarvan and Sona on your team bc those can keep a poky 4v5 going all day, but alas i often got stuck with 4 single target champs
Tbh taking a ranked break atm bc the tryhard-but-not-quite-good-enough playstyle in my bracked (1350-1450) just was too annoying for little reward.

relies on dodge so can either be insanely quick and safe or utter shit and slow. Jungle jax is viable, but like all Jaxes requires a full T3 runepage. Split push and pressure is still a concept players have a real hard time grasping. It was my downfall back when Shen wasn't UP. I spent most of my game trying to explain to my team that if I go top and they bot or middle, we will win without fighting, or force a 4 v 5. Thus I have like 30% win with Shen because those ideas are (in the words of Sedai) fucking rocket surgery.
And i only played Shen in duoq so i got like 70% win with him
