Can't we just have all members of the cabinet shot so we can try again?

I'm not sure how shooting the best the Tories have to offer will improve things.

Schumpeters' creative destruction. Supply side economics (which the tories love so much) dictates that out with the old and in with the new will spur innovation and constant improvement.

Big relief the worst is over. Probably the best time for a spot of Financial Deregulation.

Grauniad is still sucking Blair's cock?

Why do they give him column space every time he opens his mouth?

He isn't wrong though is he? Brexit *is* going to result in the impoverishment of poorer people in this country, at least in the short term.

Poland treats me like shit and I hate them as a result of it

Quite possibly, but he is also criticising the only workable solution to that, a massive state investment programme to support the economy. He's once again having a go at Corbyn for not kow towing to the Thatcher-Blair policitical consensus that has clearly been rejected by the population.

Also, Blair himself is a big factor in people voting to leave, because his rabid Europhillia exposed us to the worst aspects of globalisation and also saw us give up a third of our rebate for an agricultural reform that never happened because the EU is so resistant to reform.

It is being rejected, here and elsewhere. Even the Tories are starting to distance themselves from it. Neoliberalism is on its way out at last.

Not really, 40 years of making shit you don't need cheaper while the price of essentials like housing races away from everyone. Shitting up people's pensions and public services, and then the past 10 years of no growth and a further race to the bottom to see who can work for the lowest wage.

The illusion was broken with the financial crash and people have been turning against it ever since, it's just now the political sphere has finally caught on.

There is a gigantic difference between that and "clearly rejected by the population".

The largest voting block voted for a party that had a platform embracing neo-liberalism. They lost voters on that platform, but there are still more that voted for that platform than against it.

There is certainly a trend towards a rejection of neo-liberalism, but you are living in a very strange information-bubble if you think it has been rejected by the majority of the population.
