    There, I said it.
Suspicion is that this is what Corbyn is banking on. Hard Brexit happens, [austerity intensifies 2.0], massive swing to Labour --------> Trotskyite government!
literately nothing in Corbyn's statements or previous behavior indicate he's a Trotskyist, he's at most a Democratic Socialist.

but really, let the tories get all the shit from brexit on them, smeared all over the place is just sensible real-politik.
I find it really annoying when people on the other end of the political spectrum throw around titles as if they knew what they meant.
He's a trot. I don't mean it in a negative way, there's nothing wrong with it but he IS a trot.
please support this argument with more than your opinion, specifically things like calls for armed revolution by a vanguard party.

because quite frankly, it looks like you got no fucking idea what you're talking about.
    Viking, n.:
    1. Daring Scandinavian seafarers, explorers, adventurers, entrepreneurs world-famous for their aggressive, nautical import business, highly leveraged takeovers and blue eyes.
    2. Bloodthirsty sea pirates who ravaged northern Europe beginning in the 9th century.

Hagar's note: The first definition is much preferred; the second is used only by malcontents, the envious, and disgruntled owners of waterfront property.

I haven't heard him call for worldwide revolutionary socialism as part of his foreign policy either.

That might have been slipped into the manifesto and missed by everyone though.

The problem is that they believe thinking for themselves is stupid. People like them often have to be told.

I guess they didn't 'think' they would lose the referendum, which is why they didn't make much noise when Cameron announced the ref.
One of the dumbest things a people can do is ask to overturn a democratic referendum, I mean its like they want to return to the USSR.
Half of you don't even know about the processes of the EU, you are quite prepared to give it carte blanche as long as eastern european slaves toil in
fields to give you fresh vegtables in your supermarkets and act as baristas for low wages so you can get your lattes in the morning and european
fishing vessels rape the seas off west africa, so you can have your sushi while west africans stay hungry.

Tell me, do you 'think' Brexit will happen?

Sure. Then I'm going to buy a holiday home in Knightsbridge when your economy tanks.

So just like the glorious British empire of old then? I guess it's fine when your people do it.

You don't give a flying fuck about the plight of the average West African anymore than your average remain voter does.

I doubt you even knew anything about the fishing rights of the West African states until you realised you could use it as political leverage.

Same as your average islamophobe doesn't give a flying fuck about women's rights unless they can use it to bash Muslims.

Eh, it doesn't make them less right though.

Liberals are just as bad as the type of reactionary idiots who support right wing groups, they are complete enablers.

Not sure how our being in or out of the EU, or becoming a sustainable fishing utopia, would help global fish stocks. Or how low paying work is equivilent to slavery. Or how we can return to something we were never a part of. But whatever, smugly saying I told you so to people from places that are screwed no matter how they vote isn't much better.

The EU wasn't doing much to help that. It is after all part of the political establishment and divorced from the reality of the majority of the inhabitants of this planet.

You realise you just described yourself as well, right?

    And me, for that matter.

That self awareness is what makes us different.
