Well... in the Netherlands we have several groups who oppose vaccination. Followers of Rudolf Steiner are well known for it, but the most obvious group: "bevindelijk gereformeerden". They are a particular kind of orthodox protestant Christians. Basically hardcore Calvinists: everything is predestined. That also means these people will not, under any circumstances, have insurance. We have this insane thing where they do not pay part of their income (as all of us do) as an insurance premium - i.e. for unemployment or the government allowance after you reach 67 years of age. Instead they will pay the exact same amount but it's classified as taxes (instead of premium) and they get the exact same amount of money.. but it's obviously not the same thing /s. These people refuse all vaccinations for themselves and their children. Every 10 years or so polio breaks out. It's heartbreaking for the kids involved. So I'm going out on a limb here and guess this is that kind of person. Most other Christians here are more of the opinion that God was nice to give us scientists and all that jazz.

Should just do the same thing with the jab, call it "holy water." With a wink and a nudge, "it is time for your internal baptism."

I had some fun imagining you saying that to these people and then .. the stoning of the infidel. Holy water is a Catholic thing. Nothing worse, really. (Sincerely, I chortled in real life.) A-not-even-close-to-this-level-of-Calvinism friend of my mum's once said to me when I was about to marry Overspark: "A shame that he's an atheist, but at least he's not a Catholic. That would have been much worse."

Great job of taking responsibility during the flight (if the info seen is accurate she did everything required to make sure she is not effected), but bad job at selecting air travel with such a transmissable virus running rampant within most weastern countries... Also as far as i am aware air filtration systems on modern planes (which we heavily 'economised' once smoking on flights was banned), will pretty much guarantee transmission of airbourne particulate around the cabins, ace.

Funny that you say that. At my work the paranoid schizophrenics, who as i said before are arguably correct for once in their mind-state, have a higher #drumroll# vaccination rate than the general dutch population.

I have been watching a few documentary's lately on other virus times. The HIV/AIDS talking points is so much like Covid. A few things are different as i see, im sure i am not the first. Social media with manipulation both ways and loss of religion even more than in the 80s. Not believing a pope anymore but putting the same faith into a anti-vax guru. Information over-flow is another.
